National Geographic photographers are metal as fuck
In the last one, that guy on the left definitely tripped the guy second from the left.
Can we appreciate that woman’s back bend, though? Holy shit.

MOOOOOOM, my body’s been invaded by hiccups! They’re crawling all over me! Get thee behind me, vile demons! (Oh, wait, I think they are behind me.)
… this look would be a catering company run by Hannibal Lecter.
… this look would be the Death Star, specially modified to launch more Death Stars.
…this look would be Miss Scarlett, in the library, with the revolver, and the lead pipe, and the wrench, and the shoulder-mounted rocket launcher, and the carton of angry hornets.
… this look would be a runaway freight train, a three-mile stampede of angry wildebeest, an army of enraged zombie clowns, the final chase scene from “The Road Warrior,” and twelve tons of flaming space debris all crashing at the same time into a nuclear waste storage facility outside of Pahrump, Nevada during an earthquake.

“Aloha from Hawaii!,” writes Jen. “We have been huge fans of your site for years. In good times and bad times when I just need a smile, I head right over to C.O. Here’s my baby boy…my Shorty Bulldog, Don Vito Corleone.”

“He’s having play time in the back of my truck. We don’t need to drive anywhere, just knowing he got to be in the magical human contraption is enough to keep him happy. He can chill back here for hours and refuses to get out. We would love to be featured on your page if we make the cut!” -♡ Jen and Vito.

[*Note: And see, we thought The Godfather was a cat person. Whatta we know? Huh? Now go on, get OUTTA heah. -Ed.]

Restaurants and cooks at homes in Japan are serving curry rice in a functional and eye-catching way: by building a wall of rice that acts as a dam holding back curry sauce. Not only does the architectural fare look adorable, but it keeps sauce from getting all over the plate and mixing into other foods.

[Updated 1:06pm PT: “Apple has released its new search engine: the iBrowser” scores this time around, c/o Oakley. Thanks to all! -Ed.]
An 007 reference is the most obvious choice here, but y’all always come up with some great Headline THIS stuff, so g’head and give it your best shot, and we’ll update the headline around 1pm PT. (Imgur.)
Pet photographer Serenah Hodson’s new project is titled, as you might guess, “Dry Dog Wet Dog.”

Quoting the article on My Modern Met, she says “Dry Dog Wet Dog came about with washing my own dogs. Their personalities change when they know it’s bath time.”

“So I decided to create a series of the different looks and not only personalities but the difference in look from groomed to wet.”

“We get such great texture on the dog when the hair is wet.”

“Some dogs look completely different when wet and this was the joy I wanted to capture.”

…accompanied by a smaller version of that thing, is always cute. (Can we get an AMEN for Rule of Cuteness #7???)

Tama is the “Super Ultra Station Master and Operating Officer at Kishi Station in Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.” Try and get all of THAT on a business card. (C.O. archival super coverage here and here.) Today is Tama’s Sweet 16th Birthday! (Video of the festivities c/o NHK NEWSweb.)

You can even buy Tama stuff (of course) here. I think. Chrome won’t translate this one. Nuts.

Here’s the current work schedule for Tama and intern Nitama.

Meet Chilesaurus diegosuarezi, a newly described dinosaur discovered by a seven-year-old boy in Chile. The theropod was related to famous meat-eaters like T. rex, but researchers think it was a vegetarian. Stranger still: It possessed a mixture of anatomical features unlike anything researchers have seen before.
[It’s not like I can EASILY fit inside this car! Are we done here?]
