Attack on Pokemon
These disturbing drawings of Pokemon that were inspired by Titans from Attack on Titan are by Beth Emery. What a horrifying twist on our childhood.

Capture Creatures now a monthly comic series!
Randy LaueWHAT
We’ve been awful quiet on this website, holding back the last few creatures (which you can see in the B9 hardcover edition right now), but now we are happy to show what we’ve been planning all this time! We’re incredibly proud to announce our first monthly comic series, Capture Creatures, with our buddies at Boom Studios! Feels good to be making comics again! More on the story at Comics Alliance, with amazing variant covers by Joy Ang, Amanda Visell and Missy Pena!

Paul Kaptein’s Sculptures.
Paul Kaptein creates wooden sculptures and carvings into reproductions of humanity’s unnatural world to provoke a conversation on the interruptions and disarray that technology has placed upon our society. See more of the fantastic pieces below:

Not saying that Nintendo should consider this idea for an HD remake... but I will hire a skywriter to do it for me.

Instructions
Who would ever follow INSTRUCTIONS? That’s just another AUTHORITY FIGURE trying to tell you what to do. You know who wrote instructions?? COPS and PARENTS working together to KEEP YOU DOWN. Here’s some alternative instructions to blast through life like a lone wolf who doesn’t hang out with the other wolves because that wolf is sick of their WOLF RULES.
HOW TO MAKE A CAKE THAT DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT
1. Pull out everything from the refrigerator and put it into a giant garbage bag
2. Set the garbage bag on fire in the middle of your apartment
3. Good luck finding a cake sweeter than living in the forest
HOW TO BUILD A BIRDHOUSE THAT DISRUPTS THE SYSTEM
1. Make a beautiful, elegant birdhouse using the skills you learned in shop class from Mr. Sullivan
2. Chuck it from the top of a balcony
3. Mail the video to your old shop teacher with the message “NICE TRY, MR SULLIVAN”
HOW TO RAISE A HUMAN TO BE A RADICAL RENEGADE
1. Produce / acquire a child
2. Betray them constantly so they develop deep psychological misgivings about authority figures
3. Smile with satisfaction as they throw their first birdhouse from their forest home
And I understand if you don’t listen to me; for all you know I’m just another COP or your DAD.

"Enziteto Real Estate."
Italian street artists recently took to the Enziteto neighborhood in Bari, South Italy to put up some rather impressive murals. The project was organized by Pigment Workroom, a start-up seeking to give artists spaces to work in and to allow them to experiment with their work. Artists for this first project included Italian street artists: Tellas, Alberonero, Geometric Bang, Alfano and Ciredz. See more of the murals below!

Towering Animals by ‘Irony & Boe’ Stalk the Streets of London

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s post about an enormous dog mural by Smates in Belgium, here’s another great collection of humongous animals by UK duo Irony & Boe (aka. Whoam Irony and Placee Boe). The pair have collaborated on several large pieces in London over the last year including this wacky chihuahua that appeared on Chrisp Street in East London about a month ago. Dramatic Tornadoes of Light Photographed by Martin Kimbell

Martin Kimbell is a photographer from England who utilizes LEDs and long exposure techniques to create airborne light forms that seem like trails of otherworldy spacecraft. My initial assumption was that Kimbell used some form of small drone with attached lights, similar to Andreas Feininger’s work with helicopters back in 1949, but the photographs are instead made with hoops lined with LEDs that are hurled into the air. Kimbell was inspired early on by the work of Arizona-based photographer Stu Jenks who uses light and fire to create similar tornado-like images. You can see more of Kimbell’s work over on Flickr.
