A Finnish photographer who goes by the name of Janne recently perfected a technique for shooting a “moon trail,” similar to long exposures you’ve probably seen of stars in the night sky. The photograph required over 37 minutes to shoot as the moon made its way slowly across the landscape. Michael Zhang from PetaPixel explains a bit of the technical details:
Janne was shooting with a Nikon D800 and 100-300mm lens at 300mm, f/8, and ISO 100. The trick behind the shot was a 10-stop neutral density filter, which greatly cut down the amount of light hitting the sensor and allowed Janne to shoot a 2258-second exposure.

i wonder if my pets have like a proper language and when i try to speak back to them im just speaking jargon
like for example my cat always speaks to me when I come home and i meow back to her and she’ll meow again & even though i don’t think twice about it to her it’s probably a situation where it’s like
her, meowing: “im glad you’re home”
me, meowing back: “tax benefits”
her, meowing: “why do u always do this”

cats actually have a human-specific language. cats don’t often meow at each other and seem to use subvocal communications that humans can’t hear to chat cat-to-cat. however, cats seem to use what humans would call “shout-until-you’re-understood” to speak to humans. so basically, it’s more like:
“I’M GLAD YOU’RE HOME!”
“tax benefits”
“NO, I’M GLAD YOU ARE HOME”
“waffle iron”
“IT’S OKAY. I LOVE YOU TOO, MY DUMB HUMAN”

Uno de los alicientes de tener una pecera es poder decorarla con diversos elementos para hacerla más atractiva para sus dueños y menos aburrida para los peces. Lo más habitual es añadir cantos rodados, algas, rocas, troncos… y si eso algún adorno que resulte apropiado, como unas ruinas, un ánfora, etc. Pero siendo lo suficientemente friki, ¿por qué no hacerlo con elementos de videojuegos? Así lo ha hecho este fan de Zelda y de Mario, que empleando básicamente bloques de LEGO se ha montado dos peceras muy decorativas y absolutamente geniales que resultan un bonito homenaje a dos míticas sagas.
