A Beautiful and Stark Photo Series Featuring Elderly Animals by Isa Leshko
Photographer Isa Leshko has captured the quiet beauty and stark elegance of elderly animals in the sepia tones of each photograph of her series simply titled “Elderly Animals“.
Many of the animals who were photographed for this project were reared on factory farms before they were placed into sanctuaries. Others were beloved pets who were well cared for since an early age. Some the animals in these images appear to be quite frail; others seem youthful despite their advanced ages…I also want my images to inspire greater empathy toward animals, particularly farm animals. It is very rare for a farm animal to actually live its full natural lifespan given that most of these animals experience brutality and death early in their lives. By depicting the beauty and dignity of these creatures in their later years, I want to encourage people to question and challenge the way farm animals are currently treated.

NASA Video Shows How the Sun Looks in Different Wavelengths
This NASA video visualizes the sun in wavelengths that cannot normally be seen by the naked eye, but can be detected by the agency’s Solar Dynamics Observatory. The SDO converts these wavelengths into images that can be viewed by humans—the SDO images are shown colorized in the video.

What Beatboxing Looks Like in Super Slow Motion
German musician Flula Borg demonstrates what beatboxing looks like in super slow motion (1,500 frames per second) in this weird video. According to Borg, his lips are “like the vagina of a brontosaurus.”

Incredible digital animation brings master paintings to life
From hazy Pre-Raphaelite beauty to shadowy baroque allegory, this short film weaves hundreds of years of art history into an amazing and unsettling narrative of human beauty. Directed and animated by Rino Stefano Tagliafierro (previously at BB), it is "a path of sighs through the emotions of life, a tribute to the art and her disarming beauty."
Tagliafierro also has an awesome tumblr full of GIFs.

Pop Culture Icons Reimagined with the Screaming Face of Patrick Bateman from ‘American Psycho’
In the American Psychos Bloody Project, Brazilian artist Butcher Billy reimagines a series of pop culture icons with the screaming face of Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) from the film American Psycho. Bateman takes on the roles of Captain America, Walter White, Bart Simpson, and many others. Prints are available to purchase online from Society6.
‘American Psycho’ is a 2000 cult crime drama featuring a wealthy New York executive who hides his alternate psychopathic ego from his co-workers and friends, as he escalates deeper into his illogical, gratuitous fantasies.
Probably what has always caught my eye was the way Patrick Bateman speaks so passionately about the albums of his favourite bands while he terrorizes his victims – before always so creatively slaughtering them. That alone would be enough to elevate the character into pop culture icon status.
This series dares to slaughter the character of Patrick Bateman in loads of different and bizarre takes, depicting other American Psychos – sometimes making gruesome sense, or no sense at all.

dinolich: pyronoid-d: alpha-beta-gamer: Catlateral Damage is...
Christopher LantzWant!

Catlateral Damage is a first person mischievous cat simulator, where your objective is to knock as many of your loving owners belongings onto the floor within a 2 minute time limit.
It’s a fun little game, and there’s a lot of satisfaction to be had from knocking things over and making a mess (That’s probably why cats do it in the first place). The dev plans to add more levels (rooms) to destroy, but at the Alpha gives you free reign to destroy your owners bedroom for 2 mins. On your marks… get set… destroy!!

A Supercut of Sterling Archer’s Best One-Liners
Christopher Lantz...no... wait... I can do better.
UPROXX Video has created a great seven-minute supercut video of Sterling Archer’s best one-liners. The season five premiere of Archer aired on FX Monday, January 13th, 2014.
As we close in on the Archer Season 5 premiere, it only seems fitting to pivot our coverage from what will be happening this season to why we fell in love with the show to begin with. And nothing says that like a supercut of all the awesome things Sterling Archer has said through four seasons of being the world’s premiere womanizing alcoholic super spy.

Christopher LantzI'm sorry guys.

Award Show Recap of the Day: Best of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the 71st Golden Globes
Christopher LantzT & A
The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards took place this weekend and the comedic duo of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey has done it again! Comedic stunts such as "accidentally" mispronouncing Tom Hanks' name and a timely impression of Michael Bay kept the laughter rolling all night. Digg has put together a short highlight reel that nicely sums up the reason we all love these two fantastic comedians.

Rainbow Hair Porn
(fromsmallviletosuperman-the third picture)
I’d love to do rainbow hair one day. but ugh imagine the upkeep…
Once upon a time when I had real dreads (oh I miss them so!!) they were lovely and rainbow for a while… I think they were a bit easier then “normal hair” as in rainbow colors because each dread is a bit more isolated and I washed my hair about half as much (there is a misconception that you don’t wash dreads, I did just maybe only once or twice a week and wore a shower cap and used dry shampoo the rest of the time.) so that makes the colors last a lot longer as well!!

Oh man now I REALLY miss my dreads :(

Graphic designer and street artist Paul Walsh was given permission by Chorus to paint their telephone utility boxes around Auckland, New Zealand.
