SexFit is a pedometer for your penis

I'm kind of surprised it took this long to market.

It was only a matter of time before wearable technology moved from people's heads and wrists and ventured downstairs. British adult retailer Bondara is leading the charge, showing off a prototype activity tracker and sex toy that goes on the...

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s post about an enormous dog mural by Smates in Belgium, here’s another great collection of humongous animals by UK duo Irony & Boe (aka. Whoam Irony and Placee Boe). The pair have collaborated on several large pieces in London over the last year including this wacky chihuahua that appeared on Chrisp Street in East London about a month ago. Wait for the Bus inside a Giant Typographic Sculpture in Baltimore

Residents of a neighborhood in Baltimore now have the most obvious place to wait for a bus ever designed. The ingenious stop is comprised of three 14′ typographic sculptures that literally spell out the word “BUS” while functioning as benches and a novel leisure space. The bus stop was unveiled last month by artist collective mmmm…, a creative collaboration between Emilio Alarcón, Alberto Alarcón, Ciro Márquez, and Eva Salmerón, who have been designing public spaces in Madrid since 1998. This is their second project in the United States. Via the collective’s website:

BUS is made with wood and steel, materials that are typically used to build urban furniture. The three letters of BUS are big enough to accommodate two to four people each and protect them from rain, sun, wind, and inclement weather. They allow people to assume different postures of sitting or standing while waiting for the bus. The S allows people to lie back while they wait, and the B provides shelter.

The BUS project was developed in conjunction with SPAIN arts & culture, Creative Alliance, and is part of TRANSIT, a creative placemaking initiative between Europe and Baltimore. You can see much more, here. (via Escape Kit)

NYT: Russian hacker group has over a billion stolen logins

by Timothy J. Seppala
Russia and internet security don't exactly go hand in hand, and the latest news that over a billion user-name and password combos being pilfered doesn't exactly help the country's reputation. Researchers at Hold Security have found that some 420,000...

Here's the Most Adorable Use of Those Personalized Coke Cans and Bottles Yet

by Roo Ciambriello

When we looked recently at the best/worst uses of the personalized #ShareACoke bottles, many of them were angry, bitter or weird. (My favorite was the Nativity scene that showed up on Reddit).

But here's a new addition that's none of those things. It's uncomplicated, fun and—particularly in its surprise ending—quite adorable indeed. Kudos to Patrick and Whitney McGillicuddy for making a great little film ... and for becoming Coke's new favorite amateur brand ambassadors.

We can't spoil this one. Watch it for yourself:

Dictatorship simulator cuts too close to the bone for Thailand's dictator

by Daniel Cooper
Cooper Griggs

Thailand needs to chill the fuck out on their royalty worship. John Olliver is probably not going to Thailand any time soon.

In Tropico 5 you play El Presidente, the dictator of a small island, given free reign to build the world according to your whim while violently suppressing your opponents. Unfortunately, tongue-in-cheek games about that sort of subject don't go down...

British artist Lucy Sparrow has converted an entire abandoned corner shop in Bethnal Green, east London, into a temporary art exhibition titled The Corner Shop featruring 4,000 hand-sewn felt products. Chips, magazines, candy, frozen dinners, and even the cash register have been faithfully rendered in fabric, a process that took Sparrow about seven months to complete and began with a successful plea for help on Kickstarter. The shop is open to visitors every day this month, and almost all of the items are available for purchase online. (via My Modern Met, Laughing Squid, The Jealous Curator)
