Trying to sleep while drunk

so i volunteered for this thing on campus…

it’s a training thing, which i’m glad my campus PD does, in order to be prepared for someone who is armed and actively going around shooting at people. i’m not sure what role i’ll play, but i thought it a good use of my time if it means they can respond faster, better, more effectively.

it’s a sad thing that this is our new normal. but given that it’s our new normal, i’ll do what i can.
