In this delightful parody of the well-known “Mexican standoff” trope, Freddie Wong and guest stars Key & Peele poke fun at the multi-layered “dog-eat-dog” plot twists that have become a standard in today’s police drama and crime thriller movies.

Tiffany Bozic’s “Sense of Wonder.”

Currently on display at FFDG in San Francisco is Tiffany Bozic’s solo show “Sense of Wonder.”  The sense of wonder spoken of here is Bozic’s portrayal of the natural world in all it’s glory and splendor, combining slight surrealism with nature’s own profundities to arrive at pure beauty:

Alex Pardee’s “Bunnywith.”

Currently on view until November 9th at Gallery 1988’s East location is Alex Pardee’s solo show, “Bunnywith.”  The show features a truckload of prints and paintings as well as masks and toys by the prolific artist based around the character of his creation, Bunnywith.  The massive amount of work can all be seen/purchased here but look below for a few of my favorites:
