Brooklyn Nine-Nine S2 Premiere Will Host 'She is the Woooooorst' Jenny Slate
KVguess i'll have to watch an episode of brooklyn 99 :|
Looking for a little more of Jenny Slate in your life after seeing her gripping flick, Obvious Child? Well, you’re in luck, folks, because the multi talented Slate is about to guest star in one of your favorite shows. Namely, the much talked about and lauded, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. According to Entertainment Weekly, the season old comedy is set to welcome Slate to its season premiere episode as a, ”street-smart mob mistress named Bianca.” While I don’t exactly think of “mob mistress” when it comes to Slate, I’m sure she’ll slay the role.
After all, Slate is a funny woman first and foremost, so this comedy show shouldn’t be anything other than the standard protocol for her. Also, as Brooklyn Nine-Nine enters its second, much awaited season, it’s encouraging to see that they can welcome different talents, like Slate, to give it that extra edge. Though, arguably, they don’t need that much of an edge if you look at their shiny Golden Globes, one for Best Show - Television Series Musical or Comedy and the other to Andy Samberg for Best Actor - Television Series Musical or Comedy.

KV:] !
The B—- is back!
Logo has acquired the eight unaired episodes of ABC’s late, underrated comedy Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, and will air them Saturdays at 10/9c beginning July 19.
Leading into the first of those eight eps, the cable net will air a 16-episode B—-marathon from 1 pm-10 pm.
ABC axed the Krysten Ritter sitcom last year midway through its second season. Those eight never-before-seen half-hours have been collecting dust ever since.

Nina Persson – “Food For The Beast” Video (Stereogum Premiere)
KVgod she is just the best
Nina Persson, the Swedish singer who has fronted the playful pop-rock band the Cardigans on and off since 1992 and has also featured in the trio A Camp, released her debut solo album Animal Heart this year. One of the standout tracks was the pulsing mid-tempo disco track “Food For The Beast,” which now has an eye-catching video by Tomas Melinder of the Malmö creative firm Top Dollar. The clip finds Persson behind and in front of various flashes of light — disco balls, video projections, undefined ethereal glimmers — while continuing to be the charismatic performer we’ve always known her to be. Watch below.

Feeling unsure of your creative decisions? The team at Fuzzco have created Pocket Art Director, the perfect way to get feedback without the annoying art director breathing down your neck. They’ve cleverly thought of three experiences: one is a digital version of the die which you can try online, you can print it out, or you can buy a real life version that resembles the design-y version of something you’d find in a D&D shop. Genius.

An Important Update on Frosty, the Tiny Baby Goat with the Tiny Baby Goat Wheelchair
KVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Frosty, the Tiny Baby Goat with the Tiny Baby Goat Wheelchair, is now prancing around on his healed Tiny Baby Goat legs sans the Tiny Baby Goat Wheelchair. "It just goes to show," Edgar's Mission founder Pam Ahern says in the video above, "when you really are determined, there really isn't any mountain high enough to stop you." Pam, you're laying it on pretty thick this morning, and I'm OK with that. [HuffPo]
Cold Specks – “Absisto” Video (Stereogum Premiere)
KVinto this
London via Canada “doom soul” act Cold Specks will release an album called Neuroplasticity on Mute this August. The first single is “Absisto,” a foreboding minor-key track laced with atmospheric sounds of rock and orchestral varieties and prone to cacophonous outbursts. In a Canadian forest, director Ian Pons Jewell filmed a video that depicts a harrowing encounter and what appears to be some sort of mystic ceremony presided over by Cold Specks leader Al Spx. It’s appropriately freaky for an artist whose new album also features Michael Gira, yet the song flickers with an emotive warmth that reminds you Cold Specks also opened for Joni Mitchell at her 70th birthday party. Watch the video below.
A Man Added Himself to Every Frame of a Britney Spears Music Video
KVOMFG
Living fancy like Britney Spears isn't easy. You have to work for it.
Gal Volinez committed some serious time and effort to the task. He inserted himself into every scene of Spears' video for "Work Bitch," replacing the pop star with footage of himself. If this isn't how you spent your weekend, you wasted your Saturday.
It's a little on the odd side, to be sure. But you have to hand it to him: Every scene and dance move is perfectly replicated, then laid over Spears' original.

KVIna <3 <3 <3
Taylor Swift and Ina Garten recently became fast friends, and it's all thanks to Food Network Magazine!
The "Sweeter Than Fiction" singer, 24, and the Barefoot Contessa host, 66, teamed up for the magazine's first-ever July/August Music Issue, on stands June 24. Taylor, who owns all of Ina's cookbooks, traveled from her Tribeca apartment in New York City to the Hamptons to meet the celebrity chef. Taylor invited her mother, Andrea Finlay, and brother, Austin Swift, to join her.
When the trio arrived, Ina was in the midst of slicing warm date bread and getting coffee ready for her guests. "Just another day at Barefoot Contessa," joked the TV personality, whose show debuted in 2002.
Taylor and Ina baked a mustard-roasted fish in the oven and spread whipped cream on a Pavlova, all while bonding over their mutual frustration for people who don't like to eat. "I'll cook for these boys, and they'll be like, 'I'm on a diet,'" the country crossover artist said. "I'm like, 'I can't hang out with you.'"
Ina then shared a similar story in which a guest claimed she was on a cleanse before downing an entire whiskey sour—and then had the gall to ask for another! "Oh, I've never had a whiskey sour," Taylor said.
As luck would have it, Ina had the ingredients on hand. "I have some in my refrigerator!" she told Taylor.
"Hey, Andrea," the singer called. "Come over here. We're day-drinking!" (flop)
Andrea and Austin joined the duo and tasted Ina's favorite cocktail. The foursome then started spooning the Pavlova. "I don't always eat it this way," Ina said, laughing about their group decision to forgo plates.
During their impromptu sit-down lunch, Taylor invited her "hero" Ina to visit her home and see her perform one day. After they left, Ina looked around her kitchen and marveled, "Did that really happen?"

Jessie Ware – “Tough Love”
Devotion, the 2012 album from the British soul singer Jessie Ware, was one of the finest, most composed, most expressive debuts in recent memory. And judging by her new single “Tough Love,” there’s every chance that she’ll be able to pull something like that off again. Zane Lowe debuted “Tough Love,” which was co-written and produced by BenZel, on BBC Radio 1 today, and it’s a lovely piece of synthetic blue-eyed R&B with the same sense of space and sweep that Ware seems to have deep in her bones. Listen to it below.
MØ, "Walk This Way"
KVi like her a lot! the music is always good and this video is pretty cool but her album is like 32 songs long or something and that bugs me!!
A wave of disease has devastated your high school: it's just you, four girlfriends, and your shapeshifting long ponytail left running the place. (Previously: MØ's excellent Spice Girls cover.)
Theresa Caputo, The Long Island Medium, Investigated For Fraud
KVHOW DARE THEY QUESTION HER GIFTS
Theresa Caputo, better known as the Long Island Medium, is at the center of a fraud investigation after several people complained that Caputo’s psychic abilities are just a hoax. According to Radar Online, former audience members and viewers believe that the Long Island Medium isn’t who she claims to be.
The creator of fraud website SciFake.com, Ron Tebo, said:
“Theresa is like a vulture preying on the most vulnerable. I think it’s despicable. She schmoozes with the audience, and wins them over with her big hair, designer shoes and comedy. When they trust her, she goes in for the kill. She’ll ask the group a question like, ‘Who lost an older male relative to heart problems?’ It’s the oldest trick in the medium’s book.”
This isn’t the first time that people have doubted the “talents” of the Long Island Medium, but if she has been fraudulent in her activities, she will have herself in quite the hole (and chances are, she didn’t see that coming). While some people still enjoy Caputo and love what she does (essentially, she gives people hope), others are no longer buying into her “gimmick” and say that they will no longer watch her show.
A former fan explained:
“I was a Theresa Caputo believer and watched every one of her shows,. My young daughter died this summer and I needed to believe in something. After tonight, I am no longer a believer. There were many grieving people there, hoping for closure, or a sign from their loved ones and 2,490 people left defeated and deflated.”
Theresa Caputo is still moving forward despite these not-so-new claims, however. Although her whole gig could soon come to an end, the Long Island Medium isn’t canceling any appearances or slowing down in the least. According to Huffington Post, Caputo recently spoke about how she told her husband about her “gift.” Perhaps this makes her seem more “human.”
“So when I told him, you know, I can speak to dead people, he saw that I was physically and emotionally getting better. So he’s like, ‘you know what hon, if you think talking to dead people makes you feel better, you keep going right ahead, because it’s making my life a hell of a lot easier.’”
Caputo said that even she was skeptical at first, but after going through the motions with a few people, she couldn’t deny it. She says that witnessing it firsthand makes a big difference in what you think it real and what you know is real. The problem is that some people who have witnessed it in person are beginning to pick up on signs that it may not be real at all.

A 'Mario Kart' Drinking Game? Shell Yeah!
KVthis is cute but i guess this would only apply if you're WATCHING the game because obviously you need two hands and complete concentration at all times for mario kart
For decades, Mario Kart has tested friendships with ruthless competition and turtle shells. Despite being "just a game," the truth is that we've all felt a little exaggerated rage over losing first place to a frickin' banana peel.
Now that Mario Kart 8 has officially released on Wii U, it's time for another dose of borderline unhealthy competition
To alleviate some of the stress you felt as a kid in the '90s, we decided to spike the game — no, not like the blue Koopa shell, but with some (responsible) adult fun.
Ready? Here we go!

Tiny Baby Goat Takes First Steps With Tiny Baby Goat Wheelchair
KV:'(((((((((((
Via Modern Farmer, please meet Frosty: a perfect little creature who was born with a condition that filled his back legs with terrible baby goat poison ("pus and toxins," according to the video), immobilizing him until the good hearts at Edgar's Mission equipped him with the most ballin' tiny wheelchair in the world. From the Australian animal sanctuary's about page:
Edgar’s Mission was founded by Pam Ahern and named after her first rescued pig, Edgar. Edgar Alan Pig, aka “the pig who started it all” sadly passed away shortly after his 7th birthday party in April 2010.
EDGAR ALAN PIG. They've got pictures and biographies for many of their rescued animals, including another wheelchair boss, a piglet named Leon Trotsky. And on a related note, Aeon's got a piece up right now about why we like looking at animals so much.

Kylie Minogue’s “Living For Your Loving” Arrives: Listen To The Rapino Brothers-Produced Gem
KVfor all the lovers: a few more "X" era demo leaks: http://www.idolator.com/7517263/kylie-minogue-youre-hot-love-attack-guess-x-demos
It’s a great day to be a Kylie Minogue fan. Three previously unreleased demos from her 2007 X LP surfaced online and now someone has casually uploaded “Living For Your Loving” — an almost-mythical track from the diva’s 1993 sessions with the Rapino Brothers — to their YouTube account. (Now I just need “Miles” and “Looking Down On Me” to leak and I can die happy!)
“Living For Your Loving” was recorded for the pop icon’s self-titled 1994 album but, like most of her work with the Italian house producers, it missed the cut. Some of those tracks (“Difficult By Design” and “Gotta Move On”) were later released as part of the Australian superstar’s Hits+ compilation or given to other artists but this breezy slice of soulful ’90s has remained under wraps for the past 21 years. Amazingly, time hasn’t wearied it one iota. Listen to the classy gem after the jump.

Mondo Creates ‘The Shining’ Inspired Clothes & Products
KVi am so mad about this because i literally just bought a rug for the living room this weekend and i would have ABSOLUTELY purchased one of these instead.
Jack Torrance: Mr. Grady, You WERE the caretaker here.
Grady: I’m sorry to differ with you sir, but YOU are the caretaker. You’ve always been the caretaker. I should know sir, I’ve always been here.
One of the most iconic aspects of the film The Shining is not Stanley Kubrick’s direction, nor Jack Nicholson’s demented acting: it’s the repeating carpet that lines the Overlook Hotel. The honeycomb pattern made up of warm reds and oranges is both menacing (when you think of the film) though quite aesthetically beautiful in that sort of House Industries sort of way.
Mondo, the Austin based gallery known for the appropriation of pop culture, has released the Mondo 237 collection, which is a series of clothing and home items that utilize the print. For those of you who’ve dreamed of having a cardigan (or balaclava) with the iconic pattern look no further. Personally I think the doormat is pretty rad, and the detail of having the key on the clothing tag is a nice touch. Really nice implementation all around.

10 CommentsKiesza’s “Hideaway” Is A Great New Dance Jam You Should Know In 2014: Watch The Video
KVin case you missed it when popjustice posted a few weeks ago, this is great great great
Remember when Madonna was releasing videos in her early days that depicted a simpler life for a pop star, one spent on the streets of New York, running around with local boys and wearing trendy clothing? Canadian newcomer Kiesza (pronounced Ky-za), a 25-year-old ex-ballerina/ex-Navy member, emulates the fashionable days of Reagan-era street dancing (on the sidewalks of Brooklyn) in her video for “Hideaway,” itself a house track that recalls the best of ’90s club jams.
“Hideaway” comes via indie label Lokal Legend, but give it some time; if Kiesza’s got more delectable dance tracks like this one up her sleeve, we can totally see this budding diva breaking out in a big way, and moving up to more towering heights.
Watch Kiesza’s “Hideaway” video above. The single has an April 14 release date, and it’s truly one of the great new pop discoveries of 2014.
