That’s a Big Kitty!

This is a Canada Lynx, a species that has been re-introduced to Colorado over the past 15 years after being almost wiped out in the U.S. Look at those big feet! They act as snowshoes, as the cat evolved to hunt in snow. The picture was taken at the Frisco Creek Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Colorado, formerly the Dieterich Native Species Treatment Center. You can read about the center at Mud ’N Feathers.
The center's founder Susan Dieterich commented on the post and assures us the lynx in the picture was fine, just sedated for a health check. A lynx can look amazingly cuddly when asleep, but dangerous when alert, because they prefer to avoid human contact. -via reddit
This concert looks like the ultimate sensory overload experience

Refik Anadol sent us this video of his latest multimedia project—Visions of America: Amériques—done in collaboration with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The awesomeness here is that conductor Esa-pekka Salonen is driving both the orchestra and the entire 3D projection with his hand movements:
Kansas Farmer Serenades His Cattle with a Trombone Christmas Cover of 'Jingle Bells'
A few months back, Kansas farmer Derek Klingenberg gained internet fame when he released a video of himself playing a trombone cover of Lorde's 'Royals' for his cattle (which has already been viewed nearly 8 million times). Now Derek is back to perform a cover of the Christmas classic "Jingle Bells" for his happy cows and surprise them with a Christmas popcorn feast.

Funny Anthropomorphic Stools

Phillip Grass, a Danish furniture brand, developed the Companion Stool series. The seats are made of steel tubes and blocks of beech, oak, or sipo mahogany wood. They come in two poses: sitting and standing. Think of these stools as extra residents for your home or office. Through their single eyes, they watch you, feigning interest in your conversation and activities.
"Why are they always fighting?" "I don't know"

Drugged Up Dog Turns Into Statue After Getting Fixed
When she got home from the vet after getting fixed, Mandy the pug/rottweiller mix appeared to turn to stone after her pain meds made her stoned.
Here's a bonus video of Mandy freaking out over a plastic bag:
