Sarah Saturday is a fusion artist bringing together elements of electronic rock, folk and theatrical, personal storywriting - performing under the name Gardening, Not Architecture.
The talented Saturday has a brand new album, Fossils, which dropped just last week. Those songs will explode up on stage this Friday night. Sarah Saturday is an Outlaw and definitely One To Watch.
Gardening, Not Architecture, born in the deep winter of 2003 in Wisconsin, is the brain child of Sarah Saturday. It was never supposed to be more than a few recorded demos. The project wouldn’t be named until 2007, and wouldn’t see its first live performance until 2009, only after pressure from friends and fans to release more songs and start playing shows. Since then, Sarah has played over 200 shows as Gardening, Not Architecture; toured the United States and Canada multiple times as a solo act; self-released two full-length albums; and had her music featured in television shows, promotional videos, and feature films. She is currently venturing into the world of film scoring, composing her first score for an independent feature film Superpowerless, (currently in post-production), and releasing a three-part anthology film for her upcoming album, Fossils, which was just released last week.

Gunplay has been on a tear when it comes to the musical releases, throwing out freestyles every few days like it’s nothing. Panty Creamer Hall of Famer Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet came out for the Mad Max: Fury Roadpremiere in L.A. last night to support Zoe Kravitz who’s in that movie. Jason Momoa showed up looking like the owner of an artisanal craft beer brewery in Bushwick who believes that in a past life he was a Wild West train robber and he doesn’t want to ignore that part of his spirit, so that’s why he dresses like that. Lisa Bonet is dressed like an Olsen at a Great Gatsby-themed funeral. While most people wear black to a funeral, the Olsens wear white, because death pleases them.
You too can get these looks. You won’t look 1/1000th as hot, but you’ll still look a mess. To get Jason Momoa’s “leather daddy Zorro” look, just get a summer job in the Knott’s Berry Farm stunt show and keep the costume. To get the other pieces, just ask one of the more stylish hobos in your neighborhood if you can go through his cart and buy some stuff. In the run-up to their appearance in Age of Ultron, much hubbub was made over the true origins of Pietro and Wanda Maximoff. At first the comics cast doubt on Magneto’s parentage of the mutant twins, and then Marvel’s own movie altered their origin once more . And now, it’s been retconned again.
