In today’s press conference, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer addressed the issue of President Obama providing a timely warning to Donald Trump against hiring Michael Flynn.

Spicer denied knowing the details of the discussion, but repeatedly put it off as President Obama making it clear he “wasn’t exactly a fan of General Flynn.” Spicer defended Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, saying that President Obama’s reason for warning Trump against Flynn was because he was “outspoken about Obama’s lack of strategy” on ISIS.

And Spicer retreated frequently to the standard position of the Trump regime over the last week: It’s Obama’s fault for giving Flynn a high level of security clearance, a level that Spicer insisted was equal to that Flynn would require as NSA, saying that the DNI and NSA had the same level of clearance. 

Except that’s not true.

Flynn didn’t get the clearance he would need to fill the national security adviser role under the Obama administration. Or under Trump. He never got that clearance at all.

After a long and successful Kickstarter campaign, TLC raised enough money ($430,000) to record their final album. It’s being released on June 30, and it has a name.

Congresswoman McSally just voted for a disastrous health care repeal bill opposed by the American Medical Association, AARP, and the American Cancer Society.

McSally voted to raise your costs and cut coverage for millions, to let insurance companies deny affordable coverage for cancer treatment and maternity care, and charge five times more for people over 50.

McSally voted yes even though the bill makes coverage completely unaffordable to people with pre-existing conditions.

Congresswoman McSally, how could you do this to us?

Meanwhile, a group McClatchy describes as “aligned with” House Speaker Paul Ryan is running an ad thanking Ryan and House Republicans. The ad will run in Ryan’s district and on national cable, so either Ryan is more worried about re-election than anyone thinks or his allies have decided that boosting his ego is a better use of money than boosting the electoral chances of House Republicans who might face electoral trouble thanks to their Trumpcare votes. 

Make them pay: Donate $1 right now to each of the Democratic nominee funds targeting vulnerable House Republicans who voted to destroy access to health care.
