Can You Match Tilda Swinton’s Hair to Her Films?

by Lindsey Weber

Chamelon-slash-actress Tilda Swinton has a severely different look in every film — like in this weekend's Snowpiercer, in which she plays the vengeful (and almost-pig-nosed) Minister Mason. We won't reveal her Mason hair right now — it's up to you to identify the latest 'do from the history of hair ... More »

And Now There are Five Muppet Movies on Netflix

by Joe Hennes

Screen Shot 2014-06-15 at 10.23.24 PMScreen Shot 2014-06-15 at 10.23.17 PM

Just a few days ago, we discovered that The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper joined Muppets Take Manhattan on Netflix’s streaming service.  And now that threesome has turned into a quintet.

The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island are also streaming on Netflix, bringing the grand total of Muppet movies to five.  That’s the original trilogy, as well as the first two post-Jim films.

Perhaps someday Muppets From Space, The Muppets, and Muppets Most Wanted will join them.  Or maybe we’ll be surprised with the inclusion of The Muppets at Walt Disney World or Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas or Julie Andrews on Sesame Street or something.  But until then, we’ll just have to settle (as if this is settling) for the majority of the Muppets’ theatrical films.

Taylor Swift Made an Elaborate Drake Needlepoint

by Amanda Dobbins

It was a gift for her friend Ed Sheeran, which is why the needlepoint features a ginger moppet holding a giant guitar. But yes: This is a hand-sewn tribute to Drake's "Started From the Bottom," made by Taylor Swift, who "thought everyone does this." Also she thought Drake was rapping ... More »

You Can Buy Brock Lesnar’s Minnesota Home For Only 800 Grand

by Brandon Stroud
Brock Lesnar home Minnesota

Via YouTube

REAL ESTATE!

Brock Lesnar has accomplished a lot of things in his life; holding both the WWE Undisputed and UFC Heavyweight Championships, murdering a shitload of prairie dogs and conquering the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania. He almost made an NFL team on a whim, married WWE Playboy covergirl Sable and got about 7/10ths the way around on a shooting star press. He’s done it all. Up next on his to-do list?

EAT
SLEEP
SELL MY RURAL HOME
REPEAT

Assuming he’s eaten and slept, Lesnar has put his Minnesota home on the market for the bargain price of only $799,000. That’s less than $800,000! If you’re interested in the house diverticulitis built, here’s the info from Zillow:

Brock Lesnar home Minnesota

Zillow

Private home secluded on 43 acres of prime land: tillable acres, woods, pond and yard. Open floor plan, large windows, hardwood floors, large updated kitchen w/oak cabinets. Four bedrooms and two home offices, newer heated pole barn and storage barn.

Bonus: It’s right down the street from a Jimmy John’s, probably! Also, New York’s hottest club is Heated Pole Barn.

If anybody looks into this, let me know what you find. My assumptions are “rooms full of dead animal carcasses,” “a walk-in stocked with nothing but sleeveless black t-shirts” and “Kurt Angle living on the couch.”

Take Vulture’s Tom Cruise Hair Quiz and Guess What Movie Each Do Is From

by Adam K. Raymond

Over three decades in film, Tom Cruise's face hasn't changed that much. His hair is a different story. Short hair, long hair, crew cut, flowing locks — Cruise likes to jump back and forth between the two extremes. In his latest film, Edge of Tomorrow, he opts for a variation ... More »

Exploring the secret world of vaporizer tricks and mods

by The Verge
Last week, the e-cigarette industry had a run-in with the Girl Scouts. The issue? Thin Mint-flavored e-liquid. Wacky flavors are a huge part of the culture that has cropped up around nicotine vaporizers, but it doesn't stop there. In addition to creating their own custom flavors, vapers like to tamper with the insides of their devices to make what are called "mods." It's sort of like rolling your own cigarettes rather than buying packs. Vape shops do a robust business in "rebuildable" devices, while the internet offers endless YouTube videos and forum posts explaining how to alter the atomizer to get a stronger flavor or tweak the battery to get a deeper puff. Just be careful it doesn't explode.
