YouTube user EmperorTigerstar has painstakingly mapped the changing front lines of World War II in Europe. Incredibly, the map accounts for every single day of the war — from the invasion of Poland through to the surrender of Nazi Germany.

Flesh-Eating Drug Krokodil Finally Shows Up in the US
DarendukesHooray!
Krokodil, already a popular drug in Russia, has finally made its way to the United States. The Banner Poison Control Center in Arizona has reported two cases of the flesh-rotting drug’s use, believed to be the first in the US. The drug is a mixture of codeine and hydrocarbons like gasoline, paint thinner, or oil that is injected directly into veins. It’s named krokodil because once injected, it rots your skin from the inside out, causing an alligator skin-like appearance. It’s really, really gross. You probably want to avoid the YouTube videos.
Gorgeous Original Design Phoenix Cosplay
When you think of a Phoenix costume, you probably think of Jean Grey. However, cosplayer Angltigr is giving us something else to consider with her intrepretation of the mythical creature. She designed this costume and made each piece by hand. The armor pieces are foam covered with vinyl and the wings appear to be made from feathers, paper, and maybe foam. I’m impressed by the design and execution, and I doubt a bird has ever looked this stunning.

Official Tetris Costumes Exist, Just Don’t Wear Them In Bars
It’s tough to get the best spots at your local bar right after work, but some creative workers in London found a solution. They simply donned these Tetris costumes and “blocked” out a spot for their friends at the bar.
“We noticed a few weeks ago a group of office workers dressed as giant Tetris blocks, and we thought it was a funny one-off. They certainly attracted a lot of attention. However, we have now seen them repeatedly coming into the bar straight after work and slotting themselves together until more of their friends arrive to occupy the space.”
“The costumes are obviously hilarious, and we were impressed by the office worker’s innovative use of the blocks to reserve bar space, but to ensure everyone can enjoy the whole bar, we wanted to call time on the punters bringing them in every day,” she added.
Now they’ll just have to rely on more traditional methods, like pushing strangers out of the way to make room for your friends.
No word on a release date just yet, but these officially licensed Tetris costumes will be sold by Morph Costume Co. and are said to only take “30 seconds to prepare”. They can also be folded flat for storage.
