Dermal Abysss es un proyecto de investigadores del MIT y la Harvard Medical School que tiene como objetivo desarrollar una tinta para tatuajes dotada de biosensores que evalúen la composición de la sangre para, por ejemplo, poder detectar cambios en los niveles de insulina. Este es un factor determinante para las personas que padecen diabetes.

Los diabéticos tienen que pincharse regularmente para ir controlando los niveles de glucosa en sangre. Con una solución así, solo tendrían que revisar el estado del tatuaje. El tono de la tinta les proporcionará la información necesaria para saber si todo está bien o si, por el contrario, es necesario medicarse.

EDC for an outpatient family medicine clinic. Less than what I carry on the inpatient service because I'm not using a whitecoat, and I'm at a desk. The Seiko I think has a knockoff dial but the movements are of a 7S26B (a regift from a friend who was mad at her ex). The iphone is on it's 2nd battery and kicking strong. G20 is a little bright for eye exams but great for all the pharyngitis I see. Es lamentable como las grandes corporaciones derrochan talento y dinero ideando servicios y productos que no sabíamos que necesitábamos. Afortunadamente aún quedan pequeños genios que, en la intimidad de su hogar, con mucho más talento y mucho menos dinero, consiguen resolver los verdaderos problemas que torturan a la humanidad en estos tiempos convulsos.

Es el caso de los Lacasitos (M&M para la gente cool) y los problemas que sus variados colores provocan en personas con trastornos obsesivos compulsivos (más del 97% de la población, según estudios recientes).

Con una impresora 3D y unos cuantos cacharritos electrónicos programados con Arduino, un joven de 19 años llamado William Pennings ha creado una máquina mágica que consigue separar por colores los Lacasitos.

Todo surge de la duda que el redditor zmielna plantea a la audiencia de reddit. A partir de las repuestas, es sigmagfx el que ha realizado este primer borrador.

Seguro que se puede mejorar, de hecho aún faltan frases lapidarias relacionadas con muchos países, pero como manual de emergencia parece muy válido.

Lo ideal para la desdichada parte de la humanidad que no reside en Europa sería que existiera una única frase que nos mosqueara a todos por igual, pero no parece fácil; a mí no se me ocurre. Por eso es una buena idea seleccionar una frase por país.

Seguro que a mis compatriotas latinos también les parece bien.
