We already knew that Capcom was showing off the Himalayas level from DuckTales Remastered at San Diego Comic-Con. However, it also has a treat for anyone that couldn't attend the show. Capcom's released a 30 minute video walkthrough of one of the four chunks of the game that most players refer to as "not the Moon stage".

While the video's fine and dandy, my takeaway was that there is a money pit for people to Scrooge McDuck-style dive into, and now I'm really bummed that I didn't make it to the convention. That would've been a great way to spend four straight days.

If you've been trying to recall what makes theoretical math super fun, here's a reminder. Researchers from the University of Edinburgh published a paper in the International Journal of Astrobiology that examines how long it would take Voyager-sized probes to bop around the Milky Way and eventually encounter our solar system. The answer is not that long! Especially if the probes are using gravitational slingshotting and especially if they're self-replicating.

I've always liked this song. It's made of layered voice tracks all sung by Imogen Heap and backed up with some keyboard synth shenanigans. Of course, we all remember it for the bridge aka the "mmm watcha say" portion, which was apparently featured prominently in the climactic scene of The OC series finale. I wouldn't know because I never watched The OC, except that then SNL made a hilarious Digital Short spoofing The OC and prominently featuring some "mmm watcha say"s. Good stuff. "I love consoles but internally we're a lot more excited about where mobile's going to go, and being able to plug it right into a next gen cellphone," Iribe said. "Those things are almost doubling every year, compared to a console that's just stuck it out for eight years."

Iribe hopes to have the Oculus Rift on the market by next year, but he's unwilling to make any promises.

"We don't want to announce any dates because frankly we just don't know when it's going to be really ready," Iribe said. "You have the form factor, HD, motion blur...we don't know how long that will take."
