The Remarkable Dinosaur Footprint Wall
Located 3 miles (5 km) from Sucre, Bolivia is Cal Orko, an imposing limestone slab 0.9 miles (1.5 km) long and over 328 feet (100 m) high. On this steep face with an inclination of 72 degrees, visitors can look back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 68 million years ago.
At Cal Orko you will find 462 distinct dinosaur tracks from at least 8 different species, totaling an incredible 5,055 dinosaur footprints. So how do thousands of dinosaur footprints come to be, on a seemingly vertical rock face hundreds of feet high? The location used to be the shore of a former lake, that attracted large numbers of dinosaurs.
The creatures’ feet sank into the shoreline in damp weather, leaving marks that were solidified by later periods of drought. Wet weather then returned, sealing the prints below mud and sediment. The wet-dry pattern was repeated several times, preserving multiple layers of prints. Tectonic upheaval then pushed the flat ground up to the brilliant viewing angle that it is today.
A Newtown shooting report has revealed an Adam Lanza baby photo in which the future Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter poses with a handgun and draped in ammunition.
The photo was part of a release of thousands of pieces of information shedding light on the life of the gunman and details of the Newtown school shooting. The evidence included images of paper targets used at a shooting range by Adam and his mother, Nancy, as well as a birthday card from the shooter’s father, offering to take him to a shooting range.
The card read:
“Adam, Happy Birthday – Send me an email when you want to go hiking or shooting. Love, Dad.”
The Newtown shooting report also revealed that Adam Lanza had a growing obsession with destruction and violence and a mental illness that his mother was struggling to keep in check.
Investigators said that Adam Lanza was utterly obsessed with school shootings. The Newtown shooting report contained newspaper clippings on the February shooting on the Northern Illinois University campus, a shooting from 1891, and a computer game titled School Shooting in which the player enters a school and shoots at students.
A separate Newtown shooting report released earlier this year revealed that Adam Lanza also searched obsessively online for articles about mass killings. From August 2009 to February 2010, a poster believed to be Lanza, edited 12 articles on Wikipedia about massacres, including one about a 15-year-old who killed his parents before going on a shooting spree at his Oregon school.
The Newtown shooting report also shed light on the shooter’s upbringing. An Adam Lanza baby photo showed the boy as a toddler, posed by his parents surrounded by guns and ammunition. The toddler holds a handgun, gnawing on it as if it were a teething toy.
This Adam Lanza baby photo has become the enduring image of the Newtown shooting report, featured on the front page of the New York Post and New York Daily News.

D Gwhy didn't I think of this? Pixel art sweaters are sweet.
Band of Outsiders released a line of Atari-themed apparel this Holiday season. The clothes might as well be adorned with pixel art or random colored blocks to younger gamers, but their dads and moms see cowboys, aliens and car chases there. Unless you look at the Super Breakout sweater, in which case what you see is what you get: a paddle, a ball and a wall.
I chose to feature this sweater not just because I think it looks great but also because it’s not just for Atari or Super Breakout fans. It’s for both Apple fans and haters too. The game you see here wouldn’t exist without Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, the same people that led to the iPhone and iPads, which are now home to bite-sized arcade style games in the vein of Super Breakout. If you already know that trivia then this sweater also serves as a reminder of Steve Wozniak’s talent and Steve Jobs’ business acumen, i.e. ruthlessness.

The sweater even has an Apple-like price tag: Band of Outsiders is selling it for $395 (USD). You could do worse: the Super Breakout beanie costs an insane $175.

Hello! I've been around here a while, so I've decided I'd like to make a big drop of books, images, videos and just things in general that I think people might like to look at. I'll put ones that I consider especially good in bold. I'm also trying to keep this to relatively short things as well and easy to understand. If any of you have some suggestions, I can add that as well! Enjoy!
Subject to occasional edits if I can think of anything new or get suggestions.
Start here!
First let's figure out what political alignment you're closest to already! Try taking these political quizes:
The World's Smallest Political Quiz
Perhaps you already know or think you know, but please go through these test anyways to at least get you started thinking about what your position really is and how consistent it is with everything else you believe.
While you go through these works, you might enjoy the 30 Day Reading List Challenge! It will cover a nice variety of libertarian topics.

![Nintendo Online Services Broken Now, Continuing Christmas Malfunctions [UPDATE]](http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/19ale9duop1pmpng/ku-xlarge.png)
Nintendo's online store isn't working for many gamers at the moment—not on Wii U or 3DS—making it essentially impossible to use many of the systems' core online services. So this is why I couldn't update the Netflix app on my parents' Wii yesterday! And it's why a lot of Nintendo gamers are pulling their hair out now.
