اعلن وكيل فورد الحصري بالمملكه العربيه السعوديه توكيلات الجزيره عبر موقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيسبوك عن وصول السياره الجديده كليا من لنكون MKZ 2014, والتي سيتم إطلاقها في معارض الوكالة خلال الأسابيع القريبة القادمة.

لم يحدد الوكيل اسعار السياره التي طال انتظارها ولكن مصادرنا كشفت انها ستكون بين 140 الى 207 الف ريال سعودي, وذلك اعلى من السعر الرسمي من شركة لنكون الام بحوالي 10 الاف ريال.

يذكر ان السياره كانت متوفره في معارض لنكون بالولايات المتحده وكندا وكوريا للعام 2013 ولكن تاخر وصولها للشرق الاوسط بسبب مشاكل واجهتتها فورد في خط الانتاج.

أعلنت سوني اليابانية ان منصة العابها الجديدة بلاي ستيشن 4 ستطرح خلال شهر يونيو الحالي (دون تحديد تاريخ محدد) وبسعر 399 دولار ، وهو سعر يقل 100 دولار كاملة عن سعر منصة مايكروسوفت الجديدة اكس بوكس وان .

الاعلان جاء على هامش معرض E3 اول امس ، واكدت فيه سوني أن 20 لعبة حصرية ستجد طريقها فقط على الـ PS4 ، خلال العام الاول فقط .

يذكر ان سعر الـ 400 دولار سيشمل الجهاز ومضرب التحكم فقط ، حيث ستباع الكاميرا الخاصة به بسعر منفصل لم يحدد بعد .

ضمن فعاليات مؤتمر Computex 2013 المقام حاليا في العاصمة التايوانية تايبيه، قامت الشركة المحلية Asus بالكشف عن العديد من الأجهزة الجديدة والمثيرة للإهتمام، وكان من بينها العديد الحواسيب المحمولة التي تأتي بمواصفات جبارة كما هو الشأن اليوم مع الحاسب المحمول ROG G750 الموجه بالإساس لعشاق الألعاب.

الحاسب ROG G750 يتوفر على شاشة 17.3 إنش بدرجة وضوح 1920×1080 بكسل، معالج Core i7 من الجيل الرابع بتردد 2.4GHz، ذاكرة عشوائية بحجم 16Gb، معالج رسوميات من فئة GeForce GTX 770M بحجم 3Gb، إمكانية الإختيار بين قرص صلب بحجم 2 تيرابايت وقرص صلب بحجم 256Gb من فئة SSD، قارئ Blu-Ray، ويشمل الجهاز كذلك 4 منافذ USB 3.0 ومنفذي HDMI و mini DisplayPort إضافة إلى قارئ للذاكرة الخارجية Micro SD. وكل هذا يأتي بنظام التشغيل Windows 8. للآسف، المعلومات المرتبطة بالسعر وموعد توافر الجهاز غير متوفر لدينا في الوقت الراهن.

Chrome’s tabs are legendary – or should I say infamous? If you’ve found yourself staring at a blank screen for minutes on end while the browser struggled and spluttered to reopen yesterday’s fifty-tab session, you know what I’m talking about. The problem lies in that Chrome tries to reopen all the tabs at once, hogging the computer’s physical resources, and then crashing. On Firefox, the issue was resolved this eons ago with the powerful BarTab that prevents new tabs from loading until you actually click them, and the add-on’s code was later added to the browser itself to bring the feature to it natively. FooTab can be considered it’s protégé, though admittedly less powerful and a bit unstable, depending on your OS, browser version and computer speed. But it’s definitely worth a shot; for a full ten seconds, the add-on prevents inactive tabs from sending web requests and only restores web traffic to them when you want to visit them. To activate a blocked tab, simply click it.

The extension isn’t available on the Chrome Web Store because the developer doesn’t like having to “pay an entry fee to publish a free extension”. So, you’re going to have to save the extension’s crx file directly to your computer in order to install it. Simply go to its SourceForge page using the link provided at the end of the post, click the file and confirm when Chrome gives you a warning about saving an extension from an external source. Don’t worry if Chrome tells you that the extension couldn’t be installed; the crx file will still be saved to your default downloads folder. Next, open Chrome’s Extensions manager page and drag and drop the downloaded file to it, as shown below. This should install the extension.

FooTab doesn’t have a toolbar button and works solely in the background. Once it’s installed, try it out by opening several tabs and then closing Chrome. When you re-open the browser, all but the current tab will be prevented from loading the content, as the extension will be blocking all web access for the browser itself in the first 10 seconds after its startup. Clicking any tab after that period will start downloading it immediately. All tabs retain their page titles and favicons, so identification won’t be a problem.

The developer plans to make the ten-second wait configurable in a future release. For a more comprehensive tab-solution for Chrome, you can try ‘The Great Suspender’. Though if you want to specifically improve startup time, FooTab is the way to go. Better yet, perhaps you’d want to go for a full tab-management suite à la Firefox, by adding both extensions to your browser and seeing how they team up. Do they complement or contradict each other? و أعتقد أن ما حدث هو أن هيئة الاتصالات و تقنية المعلومات كانت تريد حجب هذه التطبيقات جميعها يوم أمس الأربعاء ولكن فضلت أن تقوم بحجب تطبيق فايبر لمعرفة ردة فعل الشارع و من ثم تقوم بالضغط على الشركات الأخرى المطورة للتطبيقات وبالتحديد لاين و واتس اب و سكايب و إذا كانت ردة فعل هذه الشركات سلبي لدى الهيئة فأن قرار حجبها سيكون حتمي و سيطبق خلال الأيام القليلة القادمة.

Last year at an event in Los Angeles, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed he'd come up with the idea for an entirely new form of transportation. He called it the Hyperloop, and here's how he described it:

...How would you like something that can never crash, is immune to weather, goes 3 or 4 times faster than the bullet train... it goes an average speed of twice what an aircraft would do. You would go from downtown LA to downtown San Francisco in under 30 minutes. It would cost you much less than an air ticket than any other mode of transport. I think we could actually make it self-powering if you put solar panels on it, you generate more power than you would consume in the system. There's a way to store the power so it would run 24/7 without using batteries. Yes, this is possible, absolutely.

Naturally this got people's curiosity up, and at this week's AllThingsD conference he was asked about it again. Not wanting to divert attention from Tesla, he briefly allowed that the Hyperloop would be a "cross between a Concorde, a railgun and an air hockey table."

This sounds a lot like the futuristic ET3, or Evacuated Tube Transport Technology, we wrote up last year (pictured directly below and up top).

FIFA finally settled on a goal-line technology system that will be used at this summer's Confederations Cup, and if all goes well, next summer's World Cup. The German GoalControl system (demonstrated in the video above with an overly dramatic soundtrack) does not require any modifications to goals, nets or balls and uses high-speed cameras. When a goal is scored, the referee's watch vibrates. So even if he's not paying attention at all, we shouldn't have a repeat of the Frank Lampard disallowed goal against Germany in 2010.

Here's a more detailed explanation of how it works from the company's website:

The GoalControl-4D system works with 14 high-speed cameras (7 per goal) around the pitch at the stadium roof/catwalk. The cameras are connected to a powerful image processing computer system which tracks the movement of all objects on the pitch and filters out the players, referees and all disturbing objects. The remaining object is the ball and the system knows its three dimensional x-, y- and z-position with a precision of a few millimeters in the coordinate system of the pitch. When the ball passes the goal line, the system sends a vibration- and optical signal to the officals´watches. Of course, all camera images of such goal event, and also of all near-goal events, are stored and can be replayed anytime.

According to the AP, GoalControl owner Dirk Broichhausen says the system will cost $260,000 per stadium to install, and $3,900 per match to operate -- considerable sums that could determine just how widespread the use of goal-line tech becomes in the near future. Perhaps some of those costs could be offset by renting out vibrating watches like the one the referees will wear to fans in attendance. That could be fun.

Less than two years after the CyanogenMod founder was scooped up by Samsung to improve Android's veneer, Steve Kondik has decided to depart for greener pastures. In a Google Plus posting, the software engineer shared his mostly positive impressions for Samsung's Galaxy S 4, casually mentioning that he'd departed the Korean behemoth's embrace. The one thing that came in for a bashing was TouchWiz's updated UI, that he says "feels like it has been sent back a few years in time to the Froyo days." Responding to a comment, Mr. Kondik said that nothing in particular had prompted his departure beyond a desire to "do something new," but given the man's pedigree, we can only assume it'll be somehow related to the little green droid that could.
