This Perfectly Timed $40 Mil Global Cyber-Heist Is Better Than a Movie
On February 19, one of the largest bank heists in history was pulled off and almost no one noticed. No getaway vehicles were left idling, no guns were pointed, no panic buttons were pressed—but somehow several crews in two dozen countries working in perfect precision walked away with $40 million in cash.

This Jessica Rabbit Cosplay Will Turn Heads
DarendukesI'd play patty-cake with her...
Jessica Rabbit is just one of those costumes that will always attract attention. The dress has a provocative cut, she’s a redhead, and the list goes on. Cosplayer and model Kay Pike definitely fits into the shoes of the cartoon character from Roger Rabbit. She could stop traffic with this costume. Wow.

Incredible Nightwing And Batgirl Wedding [Cosplay]
DarendukesNerd themed weddings are either awesome or shit.
I think this one is awesome.
When Seth and Laura decided to get married, they incorporated their two favorite superheroes into the day in a big way. Seth loved Nightwing while Laura loved Batgirl so they each turned their parts of the wedding into hommages to their favorite character. The bride gets a utility belt and Batgirl garters while the entire wedding party gets masks.

Groom To Be’s Custom Made, Laser Etched Titanium Halo Ring Proves His Commitment
DarendukesOk, you have to admit, this is pretty badass.
Kotaku reader Mike wanted to create a unique ring for his wedding next year, so he asked Boone Rings to laser etch him his very own Halo ring. It has the Halo design on the inside and outside. Needless to say, if he’s going to these lengths for his ring, I’m thinking he’s going to have himself one pretty amazing wedding.
I hope we get pictures

Teen's Attempt to Pull Dumbest Internet Prank Ends Smashingly
DarendukesGood. Dumbass.
You'd think that, after the kids behind the universally reviled "gallon smashing" fad nearly went to jail over it, teens would stop trying to imitate the wasteful, inconsiderate, and downright dangerous prank.
Here's the Official Trailer for Season 4 of Arrested Development
DarendukesIT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!
The trailer for the fourth season of Arrested Development is finally here. Not that the show has been lacking hype; in just the last week alone, Netflix announced plans to set up Bluth's Original Frozen Banana stands in select cities, and a quote from the show was used as an insult in the Canadian House of Commons.
Blood alcohol level expected to be lowered
DarendukesCorrection: It is currently .08 not .8
But still, that is a big drop. .08 to .05.
That's like 2 beers.
The National Transportation Safety Board is expected today to formally recommend states lower the legal, driving, blood-alcohol limit, from 0.8 to 0.5.
It took the federal government 21 years to get all fifty states to adopt the current standard, so the chances of getting the blood alcohol limit lowered quickly are slim. The former head of the NTSB, Mark Rosenker says “The NTSB will have to work very hard to get through the state legislative process to get all 50 states to lower that blood-level concentration.”
Rosenker says the vast majority of the world is at that level right now. He likes the idea and believes it will save lives because people will drink less.

Eternal Darkness spiritual successor 'Shadow of the Eternals' announced, crowdfunding begins Monday [Update: PC/Wii U, story details]
DarendukesI will help fund this.
'Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem' is in my top 10 games of all time list.
Update: Precursor Games will seek $1.5 million in funding when its campaign begins on Monday, a representative of the studio has told IGN. Additionally, Shadow of the Eternals will be released as 12 episodes for PC and Wii U, though an expected release window was not given.
Initial story details describe Detective Paul Becker as a Louisiana cop embroiled in a conflict between two warring cults. The game will "span over 2500 years of history throughout Egypt, England, Hungary, and the United States" while players "try to balance the mechanics of combat, magick, and sanity events."
Original text: Shadow of the Eternals was announced earlier today in a trailer on IGN with wording that heavily implies the game is a spiritual successor to the 2002 Gamecube cult classic Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Under development at Precursor Games, Shadow of the Eternals will be multiplatform, presuming the success of a crowdfunding drive that is set to begin on Monday.
Whether that crowdfunding initiative takes the shape of a Kickstarter, Indiegogo or independent campaign remains to be seen. What is known, however, is that Eternal Darkness director and producer Denis Dyack is involved in the project to some degree.
On a more cryptic note, the Latin phrase at the beginning of the trailer translates to "The Order of the Unseen," which jives with the trailer's request for the viewer to "join the order." Personally, we're going to need to see some kind of incentive before we sign anything. Do we get a free toaster? Are utilities included? Let's make a deal here.
[Thanks, Tom!]
