Ten years ago, we were introduced to the staff of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. More importantly, it was when we first met Michael Scott, regional manager.
Depending on who you ask, Scott's character is either the wisest or most ignorant in the entire cast. For every somewhat intelligible sentiment he had, he found a way to ruin it. (Usually by adding "That's what she said.") But, it doesn't really matter if people thought him a fool. It was his attitude and perspective on life that made us so adore him. To live like Michael Scott is to live life through the lens of a child — a child who has an unhealthy appetite for bacon.
Ahead, we've put together Scott's most inspirational sayings. Feel free to print them out and stick hang 'em in your cubicle.
P.S. Jim and Pam forever.
A prime example of when Scott actually made a really good point. “If a baby were president, there would be no taxes. There would be no war. There would be no...government, and...things could get terrible. And...actually...probably it would be a better screenplay idea than a serious suggestion.”

Never.

Honestly, think about the kind of things you would get done if you woke up everyday and said this to yourself.

Not sure this is exactly what they say, but you get the idea.

THAT IS WHY IT’S A JOKE, PEOPLE.

Let this one marinate in your brain for a few minutes before you decide if you agree with him or not.

Forgive and forget, says Michael Scott.

“Don’t ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what. No matter where. Or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you’ve been, ever. For any reason, whatsoever.”

Pretty genius, actually.

I’m afraid of how much I love Jim and Pam.

“Presents are the best way to show someone how much you care. It is like this tangible thing that you can point to and say, ‘Hey, man. I love you this many dollars worth.’”

There’s probably a fancier way authors have written this over the years, but Scott’s version gets right to the point.
Watch here (at around 9:43)
“Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way.”
Watch here (at about 1:10)
Sometimes she really may have said that.
