Toys R' Us Exclusive MAUD PIE Brushable Appears on Taobao!
Lrbeverooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I don't always brushie brushie pony mane, but when I see Maud Pie, I change my mind. A Toys R' Us pre-styled Maud Pie brushable looks to be on it's way, complete with a somewhat more flowery robe thing (what is Mauds clothing called?). Considering it's on Taobao completely packaged now, expect to see it later in the year for actual sale!
Thanks to Debra, Pink Pearl, and everyone else for sending it!
Cat Food! (…and other comics!) Kickstarter
Lrbeverhmmmmmmm
Hi!! I have a big announcement this week! I’ve been working on a brand new comic called Cat Food, and I’m hoping to print it through Kickstarter with your help! If I receive enough funds, I’ll also be able to create a print version of the latest Doctor Cat story, Professional Cats! I’ve been working super hard and I’m really excited about this project, so I hope you’ll check it out! And even if you can’t support it, you should watch the video ’cause it’s cute. Thanks so much for your support~!

Incense Pointillism – Artist Burns Thousands of Holes into Paper with Incense Sticks to Create Beautiful Landscapes
Lrbeverneaaaaaaaaat
While traditional forms of pointillism involve adding distinct dots of color in patterns to form an image, Korean artist Jihyun Park does the opposite. He inverts the art of pointillism by puncturing dots into paper instead of adding them.
Using incense sticks, Park burns thousands of tiny holes into rice paper, until recognisable patterns of clouds, mountains and trees emerge. His project, titled ‘Incense Series’, consists of completed drawings mounted on varnished canvases. So the holes in the paper allow the viewer to see shadows while the white canvas reflects light.
Free Pony Cards to Meetup Groups and CCG Play Groups!
LrbeverMore Maud cards!
Last time Enterplay did this, over 7000 cards were sent off to hundreds of fan groups, spreading Break Dancing Twilight Sparkles and Luna having Too Much Fun all across the world.
Well, here we go again! Burst of Speed was the winner card at The Crystal Game prerelease events and hasn't really been seen since, and this is the first wide release of Maud Pie, Let's Play "Camouflage" ever!
These cards are free to ANY My Little Pony fan group. Doesn't matter if you guys have never even tried MLP: CCG or if you're on Team Pandeponium, these cards are for you. Two important notes:
- All mailing information is collected again from scratch. Even if you were in the last mailing your group liaison still needs to fill out the following form!
- Your liaison should fill out the form ASAP! The deadline is midnight Pacific time next Tuesday the 17th.
So choose one member of your group to be the liaison to the MLP: CCG Fan Group Support Program and send them to this form! Plus, it sounds like some groups are also going to get "extra Enterplay goodies," so there's no reason to miss out on this.

It's times like this where I wish there are more cartoons about Masked Wrestling. Because every single time I've encountered it in the media, it's been nothing but a laugh riot (in a very good way!)
Yes, iTunes has released their three page preview of the comic—which releases March 25th (Yes that is the same day as Friends Forever #15). And as always you can find it below the break!
*CRACK!*
My arm! I said below the break, not make a break!

Discussion: 24 Hours With Your LEAST Favorite Character, What Do You Do?
LrbeverUgh... I'll never give that idiot all the fancy things he wants. My head already aches before he came!
Bad news! Following the greatest day of your life, a series of black holes have aligned and caused bad luck for all! Your least favorite character has arrived in your living room, and demands that you entertain them for the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, fine print in your last agreement forces you to comply.
We are at a crossroads once again fandom! What will you do with this character for the next 24 hours? Who is it? How do you deal with what makes you dislike them so much?
Hit those comments up!

MRW I'm finally feeling ready to date again, make an OKCupid account, and my ex is my top match by a large margin
LrbeverThis happened to Tatianna. It's even worse because it happened on both Okcupid and the Japanese equivalent.
Hotel Transylvania 2 gets its first delightful teaser trailer
LrbeverLooks like fun, lol
“You throw them and they figure it out.”
The first teaser for Hotel Transylvania 2 has been released, and it’s just as delightful as we hoped. The same “batty” humor is displayed, and that’s a good thing. Although the movie was overly corny, the first Hotel Transylvania was a pleasant surprise when it came out in 2012, and it looks like the sequel will follow in those footsteps.
Scheduled to hit theaters on September 25, Hotel Transylvania 2 will explore the relationship between Dracula and his father, Vlad, and Dracula’s half-breed grandson, Dennis. The plot actually sounds pretty complex—at least as far as animated films go. In addition to juggling his father’s unexpected visit, Dracula will also deal with his responsibilities to Hotel Transylvania, which has opened up its doors to human guests.
Hotel Transylvania 2 is again being helmed by Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack), with Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg and Mel Brooks in starring roles.

173. CHRIS HARDWICK: The gift of life
LrbeverThis is awesome!
Chris Hardwick is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, television host, actor and geek icon. His Nerdist Podcast, in which he and his pals interview celebrities and creative people, is one of my favourites.
This quote is taken from Hardwick’s memoir/self-help book The Nerdist Way: How to Reach The Next Level (in Real Life). In the book, Hardwick shares how he levelled-up and seized control of his own mind. He landed a gig as an MTV host at 22 but admits he was not prepared for the world of show business. What followed were “several years of laziness, drinking and f**kups.” By the time he was 30, Hardwick was overweight, drank too much, had bad credit and little work prospects. He decided to do something about it, got sober, got in shape and devoted himself to improving his life (you can compare ‘Chubby Chris’ to ’New and Improved Chris’ in this blog post he wrote). He went on to start the incredibly successful Nerdist empire, and today is a stand-up comedian, TV host and pretty much the King of all pop-culture.
So what actually is a Nerdist? Taken from The Nerdist Way:
There are Nerds, and then there are Nerdists. A Nerdist is, more specifically, an artful Nerd. He or she doesn’t just consume, he or she creates and innovates. Freelancers, game designers, graphic designers, DMs (Dungeon Masters), musicians, artists, crafties, and writers are all examples of Nerdists. Yes, we obsess over things, but we are also driven to produce stuff. It may not be surprising, then, that I refer to Nerdists as “creative obsessives.” The technology explosion in the Information Age has allowed us to flourish, whereas even as recently as fifteen years ago we would have had to get jobs that devoured our souls and pooped them out into little cubes, with little recourse for pursuing our Nerdly passions in any professional capacity. OUR TIME IS NOW.
Can I get an ‘Amen’?
RELATED COMICS: Kevin Smith – It Costs Nothing to Encourage an Artist. Jim Henson – A Puppeteer’s Advice. Amy Poehler – Great People Do Things Before They’re Ready.
