Well, let me tell you a story. You can blame/thank
Haha, but really, ever since her interview with the CutieArtCrusaders I began questioning the amount of cuteness in my gallery. Which was kinda scarce amongst all the war I've been making.
I'm so evil! But basically, since then I've been trying to make more cute stuff as well, like "Why not both?!"
Just look at her Rarijack-daily tumblr!!!
The name already says it.
It's fabulous.
So let this be my little random tribute to that cuteness and try to add to it! (Or like a late or early birthday gift?!)
Thanks for the influence, keep making awesome cute stuff
So out of my comfort zone this style, although not completely new. Still, hah.
More styles to add to my gallery haha. It's so different!
Approx Time: 3 hours

Binding of Isaac Twilight Sparkle Mod
LrbeverNOPE NOPE NOPE!
I've seen quite a few people over the years on my Steam friend list put stupid amounts of time into this game. Now they, and you, can do it with Twilight Sparkle. This simple little mod replaces the character Azazel with bookponi, along with a swap on the spellbook and spoon bender.
Head on over here for the reddit thread !
10 Days of Pony - Twilight Sparkle
LrbeverALL HAIL PRINCESS TWILIGHT!
In celebration of that, we are going to count down the final 10 days with themed pony nights, starting with TWILIGHT SPARKLE!
Of all the characters on the show, Twily has gone through the most significant changes. She started off as a book obsessed recluse in season one, who's brand new social life was run by how-to guides and assistance from Spike. We've seen her as the paragon of adorkability, getting excited over things I bet a lot of us in the fandom would relate to.
Over the seasons, she has both gained in confidence and grown more friendly to her fellow pony. While some of her original charm was lost when she went princess mode, she still slips back into it pretty often. We saw her slip back into her nerdy know-it-all roll during "Testing Testing 1, 2, 3", and I loved every second of it. Here's to hoping season 5 will bring even more of that glorious Twilight Sparkle banter we've come to love.
Now go! Spread the message of Twilight Sparkle! And return tomorrow night for celebration on another character!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt literally lets you watch hair grow
LrbeverIS THIS REAL LIFE?
There are a lot of ways to track time in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. There’s of course the standard day/night cycle. You can always check the amount of time you’ve played. There’s one other way, though. How’s Geralt’s beard doing?
German magazine Gamestar published an article about the time they spent playing CD Projekt Red’s new RPG and a NeoGAF user was kind enough to translate it.
Among some notes about the game made by Gamestar was a curious one: “Geralt’s beard will grow over time.”
Eurogamer reached out to the developer for confirmation and Communications Chief Michal Platkow-Gilewski had this to say:
The beard grows as time passes and when Geralt moves between locations. The beard has several “states” and these states determine its length – the longest is really long but it’s not Gandalf-long.
If you pick out one of the pre-crafted styles from the game’s free “Beard and Hairstyle” DLC, though, it’ll stay that way. Can we get the beard and hairstyle DLC working in real life? Shaving is so much work.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to release May 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

READER OF THE MONTH: What if money was no object?

Hey there, here’s another great story from the Zen Pencils community. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I do. – Gav

My name is Jess, I’m 34 and from the UK. I knew from a very young age that I would not be one of those people who hated their job. I knew that there was more to life than careers and pensions. Life is for living and having fun, jobs are secondary … or thirdly or fourthly.
While my friends were puzzling over which universities to go to I was deciding which country to travel to first. In my mind I figured I’d travel for a few years and thought nothing more of it. Surfing and photography are my passions and I surfed and sailed myself around the world … for the next 16 years. I never stayed in one place for more than a few months, met wonderful people, experienced many different cultures from India to Antarctica, the Caribbean to Sweden and everything in between. 52 countries and 50 thousand ocean sailing miles later and I found myself back home in the UK listening to people say “When are you going to get a real job? When are you going to settle down? What are you running away from?”. After awhile these people started to get to me and the seeds of doubt began to grow. “Maybe they’re right”, I thought. “I should get a proper job. What on earth is a proper job anyway?”
So I started reading books looking for answers to my conflicting feelings. I dabbled in Tibetan Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, the Tao Te Ching, Christianity, psychology and psychotherapy. I read every self-help book under the sun from Tim Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle and Ram Das. I even started meditating (which was one of my better discoveries and something I still practice today). Even though the books were filled with wisdom, they mostly filled my head with other peoples ideas which created more questions and just conflicted with my inner voice.

However, every now and then I stumble upon something very useful. Simple reminders that if we shut out all the noise we will be able to hear what our inner voice is telling us, and more importantly that our own inner voice is the only thing we need to listen to. One of those reminders was the Alan Watts comic What If Money Was No Object? that I found on Zen Pencils. After reading it, I decided to write down the things I loved most, without taking money into consideration: art, music, surfing, camping, playing in nature and living an outdoor life. Then I had a huge realisation. I ALREADY HAD IT! I had my head so deeply in too many self-help books that I had forgotten the very things my heart called out for. I couldn’t even see that I already had everything I want. It’s only us who knows what’s best for us. What might be best for one person is not best for another and it’s nobody’s job to tell you what you should or shouldn’t be doing.
Currently I’m doing art and photography projects and deciding where to go next. I’m not employed at the moment but something will come up, it always does when I trust that it will. My plan for the future is to continue having no plan and to be open to the flow of life and the opportunities it brings. I have no idea where I’ll go or what I’ll do. Whatever it is I know it will be what I want in that moment.

UPDATE: Jess has added more info in the comments section below, explaining a bit about her upbringing and how she funded her 16 years of travel. – Gav

Tweet of the Day: J.K. Rowling’s Perfect Response to a Question About Dumbledore’s Sexuality
Lrbeverjk rulllllllllllllles
“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling revealed that Albus Dumbledore was gay back in 2007 at Carnegie Hall, but apparently some fans still can’t seem to wrap their heads around it.
On Twitter Tuesday, a girl named Ana Kocovic reached out to Rowling and asked about the decision to make the Hogwarts headmaster a homosexual.
“Thank you so much for writing Harry Potter,” Kocovic wrote. “I wonder why you said that Dumbledore is a gay because I can’t see him in that way.”
And just like magic, Rowling responded with the most perfect tweet ever.
The girl ended up thanking her and apparently deleting all of her tweets. Her profile now says her name is Gellert Grindelwald, whom Rowling previously said was Dumbledore’s love interest.
“Amazing answer,” she replied. “Yes you are absolutely right. Such an inspiration!”
