Normcore Toddler Has Personal Injury Lawyer-Themed Birthday Party

Grayson Dobra, 2, celebrated his birthday this year with a theme party. The theme wasn’t Bob the Builder or whatever dumb shit two-year-olds like these days. Instead, it was organized around Dobra’s hero: New Orleans personal injury lawyer Morris Bart. This boy has his priorities straight.
Watch What Happens When You Dissolve An Antacid In Space
Antacids are unspectacular when dropped into a glass of water here on Earth. A little fizzy show and then you knock it back to cure what ails yer.
Take this same, simple action to a space station, and a ball of fizzy water is now floating around.
As with all activities, everything’s way more awesome in space.

Unusual Hybrid Animal and Wildlife Murals Painted by Alexis Diaz

Puerto Rican artist Alexis Diaz (previously) brings textures and patterns reminiscent of traditional engraving techniques to his murals of phantasmagorical creatures using only a paintbrush. Twisting tentacles, strange fusions of anatomy, beings wrapped in plants, all rendered atop colorful gradients create an unmistakable style Diaz has become famous for. You can see much more of his work here. (via Cross Connect)

Video: The beautiful tracking shots from films by Stanley Kubrick

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. There are few directors like Stanley Kubrick so we have to appreciate all that he’s left us with. This video montage by CutPrintFilm puts together various tracking shots (or shots meant to look like tracking shots) from Kubrick films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange And Eyes Wide Shut.

Breaking Bad-Themed Coffee Shop In Istanbul
The coolest Entrepreneur Deniz Kosan created Walter’s Coffee Roastery It is the world’s first Coffee Super Lab, opened in March 29th, 2015 in Moda, Kadikoy, Istanbul. He designed it inspired by his favorite TV series Breaking Bad and.
Deniz has a cousin who looks just like Walter White; he has glasses, bald head, mustache, and goatee. He is called Heisenberg. He came up with a name for a coffee lab: Walter’s Coffee.
They realized there is a lack of originality in food and beverage industry, so they built a coffee shop based on a chemical lab. There is no official usage of name, logo, commercial things, brand etc. They just have similar things that every Breaking Bad fan love.

It’s Katniss v. Jon Snow in this GAME OF THRONES/HUNGER GAMES Mash-Up
Bridgettook long enough for this to happen
If Jon Snow had Katniss Everdeen on his case rather than a lovesick Ygritte, something tells us those arrows would’ve found their way into his heart much, much sooner. Especially because in this Game of Thrones meets The Hunger Games mash-up, Lord Commander Snow is the one wrecking havoc on the poor, poor districts of Panem. NOT COOL, JON SNOW. Not cool!
The whole thing works because, well, President Snow and Jon Snow have the same surname (wait, is President Snow also a bastard of the North? Maybe a Bolton? Because that would explain a lot). And it has the bonus of both properties having some shared characters: namely Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth/Commander Lyme) and Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell/Cressida Bonas) in them.
Although we do have a bone to pick with the video, and will say this: if Jon Snow were the President of Panem that whole Hunger Games thing totally wouldn’t have happened. Because even though he knows nothing, he does know a thing or two about compassion when it comes to leading—even if other people won’t listen to him (sigh).
Anyone else dreaming of a fandom mash-up wherein Jon Snow and Katniss Everdeen get married and rule the world? Or has that already been created in some fan fiction we don’t know about? Either way, let us know in the comments below.

Alicia Lutes is the Associate Editor of The Nerdist and would totally approve of a Panem ruled by Jon Snow. Fight her about it on Twitter @alicialutes.
