Boing Boing reader Hubertus shot these lovely shots of very neatly organized and labeled heirloom apple varieties at the Cambridge Botanical Garden in the UK, and shared them in the Boing Boing Flickr Pool. The organization hosts an annual Apple Day, which sounds fun for both foodies and botany fans. Apples are one of the most amazing things about Autumn. What's your favorite variety? I like my apples like I like my people: imperfect, easily bruised, and sweet.

To celebrate a decade-long relationship between himself and adidas Originals, Jeremy Scott has outfitted his iconic “Wings” sneaker in an all-over dollar bill print for a design that manages to surpass the loudness of his usual designs. Scott originally used the print on a limited edition high-top sneaker for adidas back in 2003, as part of the i-sign project. Since then, Scott’s and adidas Original’s collaborative collections have been updated every season with new color and fabric combinations. For Fall/Winter 2013, the “Money Wings 2.0″ features a color-matching sole and a second lacing at the back between the wings.
