I Want This Guy's 30-Pound Hulk Glove That Smashes Anything You Can Find

by Andrew Liszewski

When a new Marvel movie featuring the Hulk hits theaters, you can usually find a pair of oversized foam Hulk hands at toy stores. They’re fun, but not as fun as a 30-pound Hulk glove made from steel that lets you smash cinderblocks and anything else you feel like breaking.

Did a Fan Just Find Proof of Quantum Leap's Secret Lost Ending?

by Beth Elderkin

The series finale of Quantum Leap was bleak (to put it mildly), with the final title card confirming that Scott Bakula’s character, Sam Beckett, remained lost in time. However, one video claims a long-rumored alternate ending was actually real, one which would’ve made it possible for Sam to make that final leap home.

Black Panther: Breaking Down the Royal Family Tree

by Dan Wickline

We are days away from the release of Marvel’s Black Panther. The character, like a large number of the heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe, was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He made his debut in Fantastic Four #52 in July of 1966. The Black Panther is T’Challa, king and protector of the fictional African nation of Wakanda. It is the home to the world’s supply of vibranium, a rare metal used to make Captain America’s shield and considered very valuable.

Black Panther

Black Panther (Boseman) was first introduced into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War, where the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) was framed for the murder of his father T’Chaka, putting T’Challa on the throne and into the role of the Black Panther. He would eventually learn the truth and offer the Soldier sanctuary until they could remove the mental programming he had suffered. Besides the solo film launching on Friday, Black Panther will be making an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War this May.

To help fans understand some of the characters and connections involved in the Black Panther’s world, they have put together this video featuring the Royal Family Tree. It goes all they way back to Bashegna, the first Black Panther, and it includes some characters you don’t normally see on a family tree, like enemies and body guards. But it gives a nice overview of the characters we’ll be seeing on the big screen shortly.

Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Martin Freeman. It will be released on February 16th.

Cobra Kai: First Look at Ralph Macchio, William Zabka ‘Karate Kid’ Series

by Ray Flook

Even after more than 30 years, Ralph Macchio‘s Daniel LaRusso understands that his and Johnny Lawrence’s  (William Zabka) lives are destined to lead back to Cobra Kai. As he says in the first trailer for the YouTube Red series, “Johnny, you and I, this, we aren’t done.” Joining Macchio and Zabka are Courtney Henggeler (Mom, Fixed) as Daniel’s wife, Amanda; Vanessa Rubio (How to Be Single) as Carmen, single mother and Johnny’s girlfriend; and Xolo Maridueña as Carmen’s son, Miguel.

“Thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (Zabka) seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi. The show is about two men addressing past demons and present frustrations the only way they know how: through karate.”

Josh Heald (Hot Tub Time Machine), Jon Hurwitz (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle) and Hayden Schlossberg (The Pact) are on board to write and executive produce the series, with Hurwitz and Schlossberg directing most of the first season. James Lassiter (This Means War) and Caleeb Pinkett (Hawthorne) will executive produce for Overbrook Entertainment in conjunction with Sony Pictures Television Studios.

cobra kai teaser karate kid

For Susanne Daniels, YouTube’s Global Head of Original Content, it was just a matter of embracing a different take on a still-popular franchise:

“The minute I heard about this project, I knew we had to have it. The Karate Kid became an instant classic in the 1980s, and still resonates with audiences around the world and on YouTube today. We’re thrilled to partner with Sony TV, Overbrook and the talented writing team led by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg to add a fresh, new comedic twist on one of Hollywood’s most storied rivalries.”

Listen to the Full Version of the Kanye West Cover Used in the New Westworld Trailer

The first season of HBO’s Westworld had a lot of standout qualities, but one of the coolest style tricks it regularly used was placing unexpected versions of pop songs in key scenes—like an orchestral version of “Paint it Black” during a shootout, or the player piano plinking out “Black Hole Sun” as Maeve prepared to…

Natalie Portman’s 2nd SNL Rap Reveals How Many D***s Jar Jar Binks Has (Spoilers)

by Jude Terror

Move over, Starro the Conqueror!

Natalie Portman returned to host Saturday Night Live again last night for the first time since 2006. Portman participated in a variety of sketches of varying degrees of quality, but the Annihilation star really shined when reprising a skit from her previous appearance, Natalie Raps. In Natalie’s 2nd Rap, Portman continued the theme of being an unexpected total badass, but things took a turn into Bleeding Cool territory when Beck Bennett brought up the Star Wars sequel trilogy, realizing his mistake immediately after saying the new films were better than Portman’s Star Wars movies.

“Say somethin’ ’bout the motherf***ing prequels, b****,” Portman rapped. “Say somethin’ f***ing nice about Jar Jar Binks. Now kiss him right on his seventeen d***s while I sit down on your face and take a s***.”

Check out the video below:

In case you need a refresher, here’s Portman’s original rap from 2006:

As pointed out by Bennett, the second rap is basically the same as the first one, but updated with more modern references. Sometimes that’s all anyone wants from a sequel, though. Well, except for Star Wars, because now we really want this revelation about Jar Jar Binks’s anatomy to be further explored in Episode IX.

SNL Sketch Reveals Super Bowl Rivalry Between New England and Philadelphia Goes Back Farther Than You Think

by Jude Terror

Tonight in the Super Bowl, the New England Patriots will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, but according to a sketch on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, the rivalry between New England and Philadelphia goes back much further than that. In a sketch mocking the accents and regional customs of Philly and New England, delegations from “The Patriots of New England” and Philadelphia, where “the Iggles are ready to fly,” arrive at a gathering of the colonies to discuss the New England victory at the Revolutionary War Battle of Bunker Hill.

The other colonists are annoyed by the bragging of the New England Patriots, who say their wartime victories amount to a dynasty and applaud the skills of Captain Thomas Brady. Philadelphia, meanwhile, believes they could win a victory if given a chance, saying the city is “mad strong, from the little babies to all our mom moms and pop pops.” The Philly delegation promises that Philadelphia will win, and then one of the delegation will punch a police horse.

The sentiment of the sketch echoes the way a lot of Americans feel about the Super Bowl matchup — “Is there any way they both could lose?”

Check out the skit below:

Thankfully, Nothing Sucks About Netflix’s ‘Everything Sucks!’ Trailer

by Ray Flook

Think Stranger Things, then replace the Upside-Down with flannel and demogorgons with the Goo Goo Dolls. Taking another nostalgic — yet safer this time — trip down pop culture memory lane, Netflix has released the official trailer and synopsis for their new ’90s-set dramedy series Everything Sucks!

The 10-episode, half-hour series comes from the creative minds of Ben York Jones (Like Crazy) and Michael Mohan (Save the Date) and follows a group of small-town mid-’90s teens as they navigate the perils of dating and trying to be cool. Midnight Radio will serve as the production company.

Credit: Netflix

Set to release on Friday, February 16th, Everything Sucks! stars Peyton Kennedy as Kate; Jahi Winston as Luke; Rio Mangini as McQuaid; Quinn Liebling as Tyler; Sydney Sweeney as Emaline; Elijah Stevenson as Oliver; Patch Darragh as Ken; and Claudine Nako as Sherry. York Jones and Mohan are also set to executive produce through Midnight Radio.

You can view Netflix’s official trailer and synopsis for Everything Sucks! below — and just in case you forgot the show’s set in the ’90s, the trailer will get you up to speed a little too/pretty quickly:

The 90s high school experience: Desperate, heartfelt, awkward, exciting, and free of smartphones. Set in the real life town of Boring, Oregon in 1996, Everything Sucks! is a quirky, funny coming of age story that revolves around Boring High School’s A/V Club and Drama Club— two crews of nerdy-edgy outsiders, who join forces to make a movie and endure the purgatory known as high school. The series stars Peyton Kennedy (American Fable, The Captive) and Jahi Winston (The New Edition Story) as students Kate Messner and Luke O’Neil, with Patch Darragh (Sully, Boardwalk Empire) and Claudine Nako (Grimm) as their respective parents. The 10-episode, half-hour dramedy is created by Ben York Jones (Like Crazy, Newness) and Michael Mohan (Save the Date, Pink Grapefruit), who will both serve as executive producers.

‘Demimonde’ Brings J.J. Abrams Back to HBO for a New Sci-Fi Drama Series

by Ethan Anderton

J.J. Abrams - Demimonde Series

Whenever J.J. Abrams is behind a new sci-fi series, audiences pay attention. That’s mostly because of his involvement in the ABC series LOST, but more recently, Abrams also turned heads with the series adaptation of Michael Crichton’s 1973 film Westworld, which became a hit for HBO. Now, he’s be returning to the cable network with another intriguing new sci-fi series.

HBO beat out Apple in a bidding war for a new series called Demimonde, the first sci-fi project for television that J.J. Abrams has written himself since Fringe debuted on FOX on 2008. HBO has given the show a straight-to-series order, but what’s this Demimonde series about?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the spec script from Abrams is described as an “intimate sci-fi fantasy drama” that focuses on a family who gets into a car crash. The mother, who just so happens to be a scientist, ends up in a coma, leaving her daughter to start digging through some old experiments in the basement. Somehow, she enters a whole other world where she must battle against a mysterious, monstrous, oppressive force, and her father soon follows her there.

That sounds an awful lot like a metaphor for dealing with grief and the unknown with regards to whether or not the matriarch of this family is going to come out of her coma. But knowing Abrams, there will be much more to the story than that, perhaps even linking this world to the mother’s health in a more direct way.

As of now, there’s no word on how many episodes of this series HBO has ordered, but Abrams was so pleased with what they did with Westworld that he wanted to do business with them again, despite all the money Apple was also willing to throw at the series. Like Westworld, he’ll be executive producing the series, along with Ben Stephenson at his Bad Robot Productions banner.

Abrams is no stranger to success on television. Early in his career, Felicity and Alias made his name and catapulted him toward bigger projects. Even Bad Robot’s Person of Interest on CBS was worth watching as it evolved from a simple procedural into more of a serial-procedural hybrid. So whenever Abrams is working in the realm of sci-fi, we’re inclined to pay attention.

In addition to this new HBO series, Abrams is also behind the upcoming Stephen King universe series Castle Rock (which is coming to Hulu), but he’ll be spending most of his time getting Star Wars: Episode 9 ready for audiences to see in 2019. Stay tuned to see how all of Abrams upcoming projects pan out.

Why Didn't You Watch the Best Show Ever Made About Silicon Valley?

by Alex Cranz on Gizmodo, shared by Julie Muncy to io9

I like this show.

It’s hard to make good TV about Silicon Valley and its predecessors. Especially a drama. The Morning Watch: John Williams Conducts ‘The Last Jedi’, The Comedy Influence of Doug Kenney & More

by Ethan Anderton

Doug Kenney - Morning Watch

The Morning Watch is a recurring feature that highlights a handful of noteworthy videos from around the web. They could be video essays, fanmade productions, featurettes, short films, hilarious sketches, or just anything that has to do with our favorite movies and TV shows.

In this edition, John Williams conducts the orchestra during a recording session for the Star Wars: The Last Jedi score. Plus, learn how National Lampoon co-creator Doug Kenney changed the face of comedy forever, and see the amazing visual effects in the Best Picture winning Call Me By Your Name.

First up, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson recorded this behind the scenes video of composer John Williams conducting his orchestra while playing the iconic theme from the entire Star Wars saga. It doesn’t get much better than this, and if you get the chance to see John Williams conduct an orchestra, make sure you take advantage of it.

Next up, with the funny biopic A Futile and Stupid Gesture now available on Netflix (read our review), watch this breakdown of how the film’s subject Doug Kenney (Will Forte) changed comedy forever with the creation of National Lampoon. You may not realize just how much of an impact Kenny and National Lampoon had on the trajectory of comedy, but this little featurette lays it all out.

Finally, Funny or Die has this incredible breakdown of the seamless, invisible visual effects used to bring the Oscar-nominated summer romance Call Me By Your Name come to life. You’ve never seen incredible visual effects work like this before.

POTD: This Miniature Video Store Replica Perfectly Captures VHS Glory Days

by Ethan Anderton

Miniature Video Store Replica

In recent years, video stores have gone by the wayside as streaming services like Netflix and Hulu continue to captivate our attention and digital film libraries replace our physical movie collections. Gone are the days when families would head to the local video rental shop to pick up a tape or even a DVD for the weekend. But one effects designer is trying to keep the nostalgia alive with a cool creation.

Andrew Glazebrook, perhaps better known as Morbid Decay, created a miniature replica of a video store you might find in a small town. The attention to detail in this tiny replica is astounding, and if we weren’t told that this was a model of a video store, these photos would fool us into thinking this was a real video store.

First up, check out this video of the tiny video store replica that looks like it came from a camcorder (via io9):

Of course, it’s easy to make a miniature video store replica look real on intentionally low quality video like this. But you’ll see how meticulously crafted this creation is when you look at some more detailed pictures of the model. Check it out:

Miniature Video Store Replica Miniature Video Store Replica Miniature Video Store Replica Miniature Video Store Replica Miniature Video Store Replica

Aside from the little miniature videos sitting on the shelves, what I love most are the details that make the video store look a little rundown. From the stains on the wall and floor to the huge crack in the ceiling. It looks like the kind of hole in the wall video store of which cinephiles and children of the 1980s and 1990s have such fond memories.

‘Dundee’ Trailer Reveals Margot Robbie, Russell Crowe and the Entire Star-Studded Aussie Cast

by Ethan Anderton
Corey

This looks atrocious.

Dundee Trailer

Even though Dundee has been confirmed to be nothing more than a Super Bowl commercial stunt promoting Australian tourism, that doesn’t mean we’re not interested in seeing every bit of footage shot for this fake movie starring Danny McBride as the estranged American son of the one and only Crocodile Dundee. So far, clips have revealed Chris Hemsworth and Hugh Jackman as being part of the cast, but now a full trailer has unveiled the entire Australian cast line-up, and damn, is it impressive.

Watch the new Dundee trailer to see who else is appearing in this sort-of sequel from Down Under.

In addition to Chris Hemsworth and Hugh Jackman, the rest of the Dundee cast includes Australian natives Margot Robbie, Russell Crowe, Isla Fisher, Ruby Rose, Liam Hemsworth, Jessica Mauboy and Luke Bracey. That’s quite an impressive line-up for a totally fake movie, and it only makes us want to see this get turned into a real project even more.

However, now that we have a “full” trailer for the movie, it’s clear that there’s no real story here. While the overarching plot is about Brian Dundee (McBride) coming to Australia to find his missing father, it’s clear that there aren’t any specific details weaving the rest of the characters together. Either that or maybe the company behind these ads is just holding back their full advertisement until the day of the Super Bowl and everything will make more sense after that.

At the very least, we see that Margot Robbie is playing a legacy character as Lil’ Donk, surely the daughter of Donk (Steve Rackman) from the original Crocodile Dundee. As far as I can tell, none of the other characters have any ties to characters from the original movie, but I’m not necessarily up to snuff on my Crocodile Dundee trivia, so don’t quote me on that.

Either way, it’s clear the star of this movie is meant to be the gorgeous landscapes of Australia, and they look absolutely stunning in this footage. It’ll be interesting to see just how far this goes when the Super Bowl airs this weekend. Presumably there will be a short version airing during the game and then an extended cut online. In the meantime, here’s the official synopsis for this totally fake movie:

Crocodile Dundee is back. Well, actually, he’s missing in the Outback. And the only person who might be able to find him is the loudmouthed American son no-one knew he had. Introducing Danny McBride as Brian Dundee. This son of a legend is forced to channel his Aussie roots as he embarks on the ultimate adventure in the land down under. It’s time to live up to the family name.

There’s supposed to be more Dundee revealed during the Super Bowl this weekend on February 4, 2018, so keep your eyes open.

Michelle MacLaren to Direct Chris Pratt’s ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’

by Chris Evangelista
Corey

This was a very fun comic.

Cowboy Ninja Viking director

The comic book adaptation Cowboy Ninja Viking was announced back in 2014, but the project has stalled out for a while. Now, the Chris Pratt film has finally found its director: television veteran Michelle MacLaren. This, along with the upcoming Nightingale, will be the acclaimed TV director’s first official foray into feature filmmaking. More on the Cowboy Ninja Viking director below.

The road from page to screen for Cowboy Ninja Viking has been long. The adaptation of A.J. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo’s 2009 comic originally had Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese working on a screenplay in 2010. In 2014, Chris Pratt was announced as the lead. Now, Cowboy Ninja Viking has finally found its director: Michelle MacLaren. MacLaren is a highly sought-after TV director who has helmed episodes of Game of ThronesBreaking BadThe Deuce and Better Call Saul. At one point, she was supposed to direct Wonder Woman, but left the project due to creative differences. Now, MacLaren appears to be finally breaking into big screen features.

The Tracking Board confirms MacLaren’s involvement with Cowboy Ninja Viking, and also says that Pratt was part of a big push for a female director for the film. Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who directed Kung-Fu Panda 2 and Kung-Fu Panda 3, was also considered to direct. World War Z director Marc Forster was attached to the film at some point, but left.

Cowboy Ninja Viking will have Pratt playing Duncan, who is part of an experimental government program that transforms a person with multiple personality disorder into a deadly assassin with three distinct personas (cowboy, ninja, viking). Here’s the official synopsis of the comic:

It started with Dr. Sebastian Ghislain: rogue psychotherapist/covert op/DJ. Tasked with creating a counter-intelligence unit, he turned to those long thought useless to society…patients with Multiple Personality Disorder. These agents became known simply as Triplets. Misguided? Yeah. Impractical? Sure. But did it work? Absolutely not. Now someone has located each Triplet and created a band of ridiculously disturbed, but highly effective assassins. Our only hope? A Triplet known as Cowboy Ninja Viking!

Craig Mazin, who wrote The Hangover Part II and Part III, as well as The Huntsman: Winter’s War, penned the most recent draft of the script. In addition to Cowboy Ninja Viking, MacLaren also has the World War II drama The Nightingale in pre-production. Both Cowboy Ninja Viking and The Nightingale are slated for 2019 release dates, which makes one wonder which of the films MacLaren will get to first (if she indeed still plans to direct both of them).

Tom Hanks Playing Mr. Rogers in a New Biopic is Perfect Casting

by Jeremy Konrad

Tom Hanks has signed on to star as children’s television icon Fred Rogers in a new biopic titled You Are My FriendDiary of a Teenage Girl’s Marielle Heller will be in the directors chair, and it was written by Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster. It will be released by TriStar Pictures.

The movie centers on the friendship between Rogers and writer Tom Junod. When assigned to write a piece on the beloved Rogers, his whole worldview is turned upside-down and their friendship blossoms. The story that became the script floated around and was on the Hollywood Black List since 2013. Heller had this to say about the project:

“I’m thrilled to be making ‘You Are My Friend,’” Heller said. “The script knocked me out with its message of kindness and its exploration of the human spirit. As a mother, I am so inspired by the teachings of Fred Rogers and as a human I am in awe of his life’s work. I can’t wait to bring his story to the public and be a part of such a thoughtful, smart group of people who are all coming together to make this film, which truly feels to me like an antidote to our very fractured culture.”

Big Beach’s Marc Turtletaub, one of the producers on the film, had this to say about Hanks playing Mr. Rogers:

“This is the perfect alchemy of talent coming together at the perfect time to remind us all of the transformative power of kindness and respect to heal and to unite. We are proud to partner with Marielle, Tom and everyone at Big Beach to bring this inspirational true story to audiences all over the world,”

It is hard to imagine anyone else that could possibly play Fred Rogers than Tom Hanks. This is just one of those instances where a project and an actor come together in such a perfect way that one cannot help but be excited at its possibilities.

Six Flags Great Adventure Will Be the World’s First Solar-Powered Amusement Park

Recently, Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, announced that they would become the first ever solar-powered theme park. The park had been going back and forth with environmental groups, and all parties settled on letting the theme park take down 40 acres of land (down from 90) to install the new solar panels.

Six Flags Great Adventure Park President John Winkler said of the project:

“This is a proud day for our company. This project represents a giant step toward becoming a net-zero carbon facility. We are pleased that we were able to come to a satisfactory agreement with all parties involved. Clean energy is right for the environment and our future, and we look forward to decades of environmental stewardship with our partner, KDC Solar. We are continually searching for new ways to operate more efficiently and enhance our role as good stewards of the environment.”

Alan Epstein, President and CEO of KDC Solar, said:

“We are pleased to move forward with this groundbreaking solar project. Six Flags has been a patient and cooperative partner throughout this process, and we look forward to delivering clean renewable electricity to Six Flags. Once operational, this project will be the largest net metered solar project in the State of New Jersey and very much in line with Governor Murphy’s pledge to support renewable energy.”

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

It’s Always Sunny’s Glenn Howerton: “Dennis Could Be Gone Forever”

by Ray Flook
Credit: Patrick McElhenney/FX

The growing confusion over It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Glenn Howerton‘s continued involvement in the hit FXX series ahead of the show’s 13th season just went from head-scratching to rubbing-face-out-of-frustration levels. With his new NBC sitcom A.P. Bio set to preview next Thursday, Howerton took to Twitter Saturday morning with a series of tweets that sought to clarify some outstanding issues; but may have also raised more concerns.

Here are Howerton’s tweets (with original tweet links at the end of this post), beginning with him emphasizing that his Dennis Reynolds is not a lock to return:

Howerton wants to make it clear to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans that the two series are completely separate and different projects:

One of the reasons Howerton can’t tell you if Dennis is coming back? Spoilers, people:

But even if Dennis ends up “gone forever,” Howerton knows exactly where he’s at:

Finally – with a move that Dennis would be proud of – Howerton invokes no less than “The Brahma Bull” to help fans better understand the subtle nuances between projects:

When it was announced that Howerton would be spending some time outside of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Paddy’s Pub to (hopefully) “teach” a couple of seasons of A.P. Bio at NBC, Sunny fans started to get nervous about Howerton’s future with the FXX series. And while we’re not going to spoil anything here, the Season 12 finale didn’t exactly ease fans’ concerns over Dennis’ fate.

With both It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s writers room set to open its thirteenth season and A.P. Bio officially previewing on NBC in February, Howerton seemingly addressed the issue during the A.P. Bio panel at the most recent Television Critics Association (TCA) press event.

Howerton reassured those who think A.P. Bio is somehow “replacing” his work on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia that the two are separate projects; and that A.P. Bio gave him a unique opportunity to work with individuals he admires:

“I’ve not officially left It’s Always Sunny, so I hope people understand that. This is a totally separate project that I’m doing. The thing about doing a show for 12 years is that people might have a hard time seeing you as anything else […] I wasn’t planning on jumping into anything else, but I saw it was Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers, and I just loved it.”

As for the future of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Howerton said that they still enjoy making the series but see the need to take breaks and work on other projects to avoid personal burnout; and to keep the quality of the show strong:

“I don’t know if this is going to turn into a ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ thing where we make them when we can or if it’s gonna pick up where it left off and it’s gonna be every year again. I don’t really know […] We’ve talked about [a gap between season]. We love the show and we love each other and we want to keep doing it and if we can get away with just doing it whenever we want, why not? Creatively speaking, we just want the show to be good, so if any of us is feeling burned out and we feel like it’s gonna compromise the quality of the show, we just won’t do it.”

Written by O’Brien, A.P. Bio stars It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia co-lead Glenn Howerton as a philosophy scholar who loses out on his dream job and goes to work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher but he makes it clear he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, he decides instead to use the kids to his own benefit. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.

A.P. Bio also stars Mary Sohn (Superior Donuts), Lyric Lewis (MADtv), Jean Villepique (Sharp Objects),  Jacob McCarthy (Foursome) and Tom Bennett (David Brent: Life on the Road).

NBC will offer a sneak preview of A.P. Bio on Thursday, February 1st at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. It will then return to the same time slot on Thursday, March 1st, following the network’s coverage of the Winter Olympic Games.

Elon Musk Plays With The Boring Company Flamethrower

by Mary Anne Butler

We’re still not sure if Elon Musk is going to turn out to be the savior of mankind/humanity or Zorg from Fifth Element.  Seriously, only time is gonna answer this question, right?

Maybe you’ve heard about the Boring Company and their pre orders for the official company flamethrower.  No, that’s not a joke, it’s a real thing.  Well, real in that you can pay $500 for a flamethrower that may or may not actually help defend against xenomorphs.  You can check out the website here.

They also have now a pre order for their official company ‘overpriced’ flame extinguisher for $30.  Which of COURSE you’re gonna need if you order this thing that Elon says is “great for roasting nuts”.
