Hoy es cuatro de mayo… y por eso os ofrecemos nuestro especial The Fifteen Hottest Girls in Star Wars Costumes, por ponerle un nombre (tampoco es que las hayamos contado). Es un hecho demostrado que toda mujer poseedora de un casco de trooper termina por sacarse fotos a sí misma ligerita de ropa. Science-Based 7 Minute Exercise

We know, we know. We should exercise more. But who has the time to go to the gym?

American College of Sports Medicine's Health & Fitness journal just squashed that excuse with this: a set of 12 exercises with only body weight, a chair and a wall that takes only 7 minutes of your life. Best of all, it's all based on science, as Gretchen Reynolds of the New York Times' Well Blog summarized:

“There’s very good evidence” that high-intensity interval training provides “many of the fitness benefits of prolonged endurance training but in much less time,” says Chris Jordan, the director of exercise physiology at the Human Performance Institute in Orlando, Fla., and co-author of the new article. [...]

The exercises should be performed in rapid succession, allowing 30 seconds for each, while, throughout, the intensity hovers at about an 8 on a discomfort scale of 1 to 10, Mr. Jordan says. Those seven minutes should be, in a word, unpleasant. The upside is, after seven minutes, you’re done.

Rick Moranis Has a New Album Out Soon

Beloved comedian Rick Moranis is resurfacing to release a new album. The actor announced on his website, RickMoranis.com, that he's recorded an album called My Mother's Brisket & Other Love Songs that you'll be able to pre-order from the site on May 21st. After retiring from the movie industry in the late '90s, this is the first we've seen of Moranis since he released his Grammy-nominated album The Agoraphobic Cowboy in 2005. After Moranis's wife tragically died from cancer in 1991, he stepped away from his movie career a few years later, later explaining, "I'm a single parent, and I just found that it was too difficult to manage raising my kids and doing the traveling involved in making movies. So I took a little bit of a break. And the little bit of a break turned into a longer break, and then I found that I really didn't miss it." Hopefully, this album is the start of some sort of comeback that involves him taking his first on-screen role since 1996, which hopefully won't be in Ghostbusters III. A Rick Moranis comeback is something we need, but a shoddy Bill Murray-less Ghostbusters sequel is not.

El Príncipe de Asturias se declara harto de premiar siempre “al mismo tipo de peña”

felipeFelipe de Borbón, Príncipe de Asturias, ha reaccionado hoy con amargura al saberse que el director de cine austriaco-alemán Michael Haneke ha ganado el Premio Príncipe de Asturias de las Artes 2013.

“Su última peli va de una vieja que le da un chungo”, ha comentado a su entorno inmediato, quejándose porque “ahora me toca verla para luego poder comentar algo y decirle al Haneke este lo bien que está y aguantar luego su chapa sobre los valores, la muerte y toda la polla”.

Critica que el jurado “siempre dé cera a viejales”

El hijo del rey lleva presidiendo la ceremonia de entrega de este galardón desde hace muchos años y considera que el jurado siempre reconoce la labor de “peña intensita y bastante coñazo”.

“¡Amos no me jodas!” ha exclamado al leer en el periódico que el jurado premiaba a Haneke por “iluminar y diseccionar con deslumbrante maestría aspectos sombríos de la existencia”. Luego ha iniciado una búsqueda en YouTube “por si acaso alguien ha subido la peli esta, porque si encima me la tengo que comprar, manda cojones”.

El Príncipe de Asturias ha reiterado que “no me van este tipo de pelis” y confiesa que se siente, además, un poco “vacilado” porque, al fin y al cabo, dice, “los premios estos llevan mi nombre y nunca se ha premiado a alguien que me gustara de verdad”.

Felipe de Borbón y Grecia argumenta que “tampoco se rompería España” si el próximo premiado fuera, por ejemplo, el actor Steven Seagal “porque a mí me molan las pelis de hostiazos y a mi padre igual, y estaría guay premiarlas aunque luego lo compensáramos dándole cera a un viejo de estos también, que no digo que no se tenga que hacer, pero vamos, que todo el rato lo mismo es una mierda”.
