Spider-Man Beard

by John Farrier
Fernando Barone

Spider Beard, Spider Beard, does... whatever.

beard

You may remember Chad Roberts, an expert beardist, sporting an X-wing beard. He's back, this time as the legendary web-slinger. Be careful, Mr. Roberts. With great facial hair comes great responsibility.

Super Terrific Japanese Thing: Vagina Bread

Fernando Barone

Tinha que ser japa.

I'm not a huge fan of empty carbs. It isn't a fitness prejudice; rather, it's a dislike of any food that traditionally relies on butter - which I find gross - to make it palatable. So there have been many times when, at family dinners, I've been handed a full plate and thought to myself, "fuck this dinner roll." I did not mean it literally. This is a thing in Japan, though, where it's endorsed by virtual pop star Hatsune Miku. It's described as "cherry blossom rain," but seriously, I don't think it's a perverted stretch to read the subtext there. Dare I suggest that their advertising slogan should be "eat me"? I'd say you can't lick this gimmick, except that maybe you're supposed to. h/t Timely-Tardis Lego via Laughing Squid

Fernando Barone

Um livro fundamental para a qualidade de vida no ambiente corporativo.

How to Poo at Work, A book by Mats & Enzo

The 2011 Plume published How To Poo At Work book by authors Mats & Enzo is a humorous guide that provides you with the golden rules and knowledge for pooing in the workplace successfully (with the use of diagrams and different scenarios) when unexpected / awkward situations arise. Paperback copies of the 144 page guide are available to purchase at both Amazon and Fred Flare.

Don’t let number 2 stop you from being number 1 on the job.

Face the facts. You poop every day-more or less-but making a misstep when you’ve got to go at the office could land you in some serious doo-doo. How to Poo at Work is the ultimate guide to handling a range of potentially awkward situations, including what to do when:

-The boss is in the next stall
-The toilet gets clogged
-A colleague follows you into the bathroom
-There’s no toilet paper

Flush with useful diagrams, this handy book can save your career from going down the toilet.

League of Extraordinary Gentlepersons 1996

by Jeremy Barker

I love the idea that the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen continues on throughout history, taking on different pop culture characters over the decades.

Davinder Brar, Chris Bird and Andrew Wheeler, have created the '90s version, consisting of Edward Scissorhands, Nancy Downs (The Craft), Tequila Yuen (Hard Boiled), Dana Scully (The X-Files), Zack Morris (Saved by the Bell) and Rufus (the Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure).

Far more plot details at MightyGodKing and a listing of the League members on the wall at Comics Alliance.

Esse vai ser o melhor jogo dos últimos tempos.

Click here to read New XCOM Trailer Is Filled With Explosions And Green Goo Don't worry: despite the theme and appearance of this launch trailer for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the game isn't a shooter. It's a strategy game. Which makes it kind of hard to sell, but hey. More »

Fascinating Photos of Basement Vodou Ceremonies

by Alison Nastasi

New York photographer Shannon Taggart — whose work we first spotted on Beautiful/Decay — was granted access to Mambo Rose Marie Pierre’s Basement Temple in Brooklyn where she documented fascinating Vodou rituals. The Haitian religious ceremonies are led by the female priest, who opened the temple in a storefront. There, powerful spirits possess practitioners, offerings are scattered across a decorated altar, and wild bouts of singing and dancing transform the nondescript room into an otherworldly conduit. See how the Brooklyn-based artist captured the frenzy in our gallery, below.
