seizuregirl17 says FML
Today, I had a seizure in class. Being an epileptic, I had warned my professor of the possibility that I could have one in class. She was understanding and seemed very concerned about my issue at the time. After I had the seizure, however, she asked me if I had ever tried exorcism. FML

Slate is reporting that, while the Obama administration has long been making noises about trying to support phone unlocking, it's also been busy readying legislation that would actually ban the practice.
Stick It to the Man looks proper nuts, out today
Stick It to the Man is out today, November 19, on PS3. The Vita version is dropping sometime in December and it will be crossbuy, so you'll get both versions regardless of which you buy.
When this got on my radar earlier this year, I dug it. Nice and grimy, like Rocko's Modern Life and cartoons of that ilk. This trailer turns up the weird and crazy factor even higher, somehow, and gives a few glimpses at gameplay.
That geriatric clown was creepy, and then got out-creeped by the cannibalistic cook slowly suckling on a finger.
We've got a review coming this week, but you can always stick it to us and buy it before we weigh in.

The World’s Tallest Waterslide Better End In the World’s Deepest Pool

Either that or there's going to be a lot of squished people needing to be scraped off the tiles at the deep end. Currently under construction at the Schlitterbahn park in Kansas City, the Meg-a-Blaster slide will open in Spring 2014, dropping people from nearly 140 feet up.

10 Old Sprint Phones Can Now Get Totally Free Voice, Texts, and Data
FreedomPop's crazy free voice, text, and data plan is awesome, but the one catch was that you had to buy in with a (sort of meh) $100 phone. Not anymore. If you have an old Sprint phone laying around, you might be able to get on the FreedomPop train without spending one single cent.

It was only the second time through this comic from Lunarbaboon that I saw the eyebrows and the time-shift, which makes it a lot more meaningful. Your outlook on everything is changed when, as someone once told me "your heart is now walking around outside of you." In some instances, it makes you braver than you ever thought you could be.
And don't think this sort of thing doesn't occasionally happen in real life.

Valve have a VR prototype to show off in January
Valve sent out information on their upcoming Steam Dev Days event, and one of the planned panels will cover the future of virtual reality hardware. Just talking about it would be too simple for Valve, so they decided to make a working prototype to show off what they see as an affordable version of virtual reality.
Here's what Valve has to say about the panel, "We’ve figured out what affordable Virtual Reality (VR) hardware will be capable of within a couple of years, and assembled a prototype which demonstrates that such VR hardware is capable of stunning experiences. This type of hardware is almost certainly going to appear in short order, and the time to starting developing for it is now. This talk will discuss what the hardware is like, and the kinds of experiences it makes possible. A few attendees will be randomly selected to try out the prototype following the talk."
