Cambridge Day summarizes what it knows about a wine bar that never opened and the local real-estate agent who now faces criminal charges of witness intimidation, forgery and, yes, uttering, for filing a petition against the bar on which he allegedly forged all the signatures.

The BRA board of directors today approved a six-story esidential building with 81 units on Dorchester Avenue, across from the Carruth and the Ashmont T station.

The building, which will also have ground-level retail space, will have 53 units marketed as affordable on what is now the home of Ashmont Tire, under plans by developer Trinity Financial. The project will have 44 parking spaces and storage space for 81 bicycles.

DPW workers will begin removing parking space savers as part of regular trash pickup starting on Monday, the mayor's office announced today.

Eversource (you know, the new NStar) is currently reporting 5,682 customers without power in Boston. Based on Twitter traffic, most of those customers are in Dorchester, from Lower Mills to Ashmont to Dorchester Center and up through Uphams Corner.

OK, so a lot of people fantasize about shoveling in the car of somebody who's annoyed them, but as Joseph Porcelli shows us, somebody actually went through with it on Weld Hill Street in Jamaica Plain, leaving us to wonder why (hey, if you live near there, why not leave a note asking why?)

AWC reports finding both this note at a parking space in Somerville, a city where, unlike Boston, space savers are theoretically never allowed.
