Dad Gets Cochlear Implant Tattoo To Support Daughter

Credit: @theladbible https://twitter.com/TheLadBible/status/628900357633114112
New Zealander Alistair Campbell got this tattoo — his first — as a gesture of support for his six-year-old daughter Charlotte who has just had her second cochlear implant fitted. He plans to grow his hair back, but to shave it to reveal the tattoo on special occasions or if Charlotte asks to see it.

Appeals court upholds Microsoft’s legal win over Motorola
The US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has upheld (PDF) a 2013 jury verdict finding that Motorola must pay Microsoft $14.5 million for violating its commitments to license certain standard-essential patents on a "fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory" (FRAND) basis.
Today's decision ends one major front in a patent battle between Microsoft and Motorola that began in 2010. Microsoft has long claimed it has patents that must be licensed by all Android device makers, and Motorola has long been the biggest holdout. When Microsoft sued Motorola over patents in 2010, Motorola shot back with its own patent licensing demands, suggesting it should be paid a 2.25 percent royalty on Windows and Xbox machines, which would have added up to around $4 billion.

Every JRPG Ever
For starters, it completely ignores the entire Pokémon franchise, but that's easy enough to overlook. You know, it's only the second largest video game franchise in the world [1].
How about Megami Tensei or Mother? Where do these franchises fit into this "complete" encapsulation? Or what about Dark Souls? That is another popular Japanese role-playing game series, but I guess we're just going to ignore that.
Look. I know this video was intended to be funny, and in that aspect I guess it works. But to call itself Every JRPG Ever, feels a little insulting and near-sighted to me. Maybe a better name for this video could have been The Only JRPGs, the Guy who Made it, Owned in the '90s.
Is it wrong that this video actually irked me, as much as it did?

1% seems a little extreme to me. 2% seems a little more accurate. But in the end, I guess it all depends on what kind of video games you play to what kind of criminal you would have become.See more: Even as Little as 1%

‘Rick and Morty’ Return This Week and You’d Be Crazy Not To Watch

Rick and Morty is pretty much the greatest thing to ever happen to nerd culture. Created by Community’s Dan Harmon and Adventure Time alumni Justin Roiland, this show uses every great fantasy and science fiction trope in the world, and never have any of the concepts been funnier than how they are applied on this show.
I was lucky enough to have a sit down with the show’s creator back when the show launched and he was the nicest guy in the world and incredibly humble. He deserves all the success and accolades, and if you have yet to discover this amazing show, what is your excuse? Sunday night, 11:30 p.m, Adult Swim.
Be there or be zapped into an alternate dimensions where dogs rule and humans drool. Totes up to you.
