by Carl Franzen

Solar energy has a reputation as being a clean energy source but hasn't earned it — at least not up until now. That's because in a darkly ironic truth, the power used to manufacture solar panels still comes mainly from electricity generated by fossil fuels. But a new study from Stanford researchers says that the balance may be tipping: all the solar panels online around the world last year produced enough energy to make up for the energy it took to make them, researchers are able to say with more than 50 percent confidence.

by Tom Warren
Windows8-stock-765_large

Microsoft is preparing to name its "Windows Blue" upgrade as Windows 8.1. ZDNet's Mary Jo Foley first unveiled the name, but The Verge has confirmed with its own sources that Microsoft will name Windows 8.1 as the upgrade to Windows 8. The upgrade will include a number of improvements to the operating system that are not usually distributed in Service Packs. Windows 8.1 will mark a new approach to Windows upgrades and updates, bringing future version changes on a yearly basis.

Microsoft will release its first Windows 8.1 public preview at its Build developer conference in late June. The software maker opened up registration for the conference today, and tickets are expected to sell out fast. Windows 8.1 will be part of the agenda, but...

Finding Nemo? Um How About Finding Dory! Disney•Pixar & Ellen DeGeneres Confirm 2015 Adventure!!

by Perez Hilton

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU JUST KEEP SWIMMING, GUYS!

Persistence is key!!

Audiences' love for Dory, the lovable deuteragonist fishy voiced by Ellen DeGeneres in Finding Nemo, kept swimming SO HARD that Disney•Pixar has given the green light for a 2015 adventure all her own!!!

Releasing the joyous news on April 2 (it would be cruel to prank us now), Disney revealed the name and central theme of their Finding Nemo sequel, saying:

"Got any plans for November, 2015? Well now you do! Get ready to return to the Big Blue for Finding Dory! Pixar is hard at work, getting ready to bring back your favorite characters like Nemo, Marlin, the Tank Gang, and of course, Dory (voiced by none other than Ellen DeGeneres). We know November 25, 2015 is a long time to wait, so until then we have some Dory-inspired advice for you: just keep swimming!"

AHHHH JUMPIN' JELLYFISH!!!

As the voice of ditzy Dory, Ellen enthusiastically says:

"I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory."

Well isn't that what everyone wants!?! LOL!!

Well, that and a lot of cute gif-able scenes of baby sea animals!!

Thanksgiving week is the perfect release time for this film. Because we're ALL gonna be grateful for this majestic creation.

Bravo, Disney•Pixar!!! Bravo!!!
