Black+Decker's AutoSense Drill Stops Itself When a Screw Is Flush

If you're not already experienced with a drill, when working with screws there's a very good chance you're going to accidentally drive them below the surface of whatever material you're working with—splintering wood and cracking drywall. You can of course get better at it with practise, or you can just buy Black+Decker's new AutoSense drill that automatically stops when the screw is driven flush.

Friendship is Magic Takes the Lead for Longest Running Hasbro Studios Series
As one of our submitters, Geoff points out, it looks like the 5th season of MLP will bring in a pretty big milestone for the cartoons worked on by Hasbro Studios from all the way back in the 1980's. The first Transformers series hit 98 episodes before being taken off air, and second in line was GI-Joe with 95. Friendship is Magic ended season 4 at 91, and once we hit the 5th some time this fall or next year, we will break that by another 26.
Congratulations on the pony domination everyone. Who knows what would have happened if this crazy fandom didn't pick up on the show years ago. Nothing spreads it faster than flooding the internet!
Now go change those forum/steam/social network avatars to ponies.

26 New Episodes for MLP:FiM Season 5

Update: Hub Network has now released an official Press Release with this information. You can find it below after the break.
Not necessarily the most surprising news but The Examiner in a recent article was able to confirm that Season 5 of MLP:FiM will include a total of 26 new episodes. If you were worried we'd get a short 13 episode season due to Equestria Girls, you don't need to fret.
As for how long we'll have to wait for Season 5, well that's really up in the air. The logic I'm using is pretty simple: If they said a specific season (i.e. Fall 2014, Winter 2014) they would have have to rush and meet that deadline possibly not having the show fully ready to go or worse... doing a poor job. When you say "Coming 2015" you now open up a winter for the ability to launch the season whenever they want. We shouldn't be surprised if during Comic Con 2014, they announce a more specific date and that date is in Late 2014.

Season 5 Arriving in 2015
Just revealed over by The Hub's twitter. It looks like Season 5 will be arriving a bit late this year, coming in at 2015. Get hype for way out there!
Note: As Kryptonlogic points out, this may in fact mean a late 2014 release. They mentioned Season 4 having a 2014 release back when it was first announced too, when it actually started in 2013.
The House Centipede: Get Rid of Them, or Let Them Be?
The house centipede is a fairly common household pest. That said, it's also pretty heinous. When you've had one crawl up your leg in the middle of a lecture in a 200-person auditorium, you know that screams often follow their arrival. If you've seen more than your fair share of them at home, here's some good info:
Equestria Girls - Equestria Academy Clarified and Confirmed for Side Series
Last week, Toymag dropped an article from the Kazachok 2014 Licensing Show talking about an Equestria Girls side series heading to French TV's this fall. A quick email over to them has revealed the details on this one.
While there is currently an embargo on the actual content, Toymag was able to confirm via email that this is in fact a side series spinoff of the Equestria Girls movie, and will be launching in November in Paris at The Kid Expo.
On top of that, we should be getting a whole bunch of news on it's English release at SDCC2014. As always, expect us to cover the hell out of that one.
Now we just need a side pony series. Make it happen Hasbro!
