Third 'Captain America' film gets a name: 'Serpent Society'
Edu[f] Incrível o que acontece quando clica nesse link.
Marvel is today unveiling the subtitle for its third Captain America movie: Serpent Society. It's a mysterious subtitle, especially given that many had expected the new movie to be named after the Civil War plot line that Marvel is introducing in this movie, which is supposed to kick off the conflict that'll propel its next round of superhero films.
Serpent Society film will pit Captain America against Iron Man, as the two battle over a law requiring superheroes to register with the government and serve their country. Captain America is opposed to the legislation and ends up having to face off with Iron Man, who is in favor of it. Robert Downey Jr. will once again reprise the role.

Edu[f] Called it.
Sherlock Holmes is becoming Doctor Strange. Deadline now reports and The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Marvel is in final negotiations to cast the Sherlock and Star Trek Into Darkness star as their Sorcerer Supreme.
Cumberbatch was among a number of actors rumored for the role, including Jared Leto and Joaquin Phoenix. Newswire: Netflix shows off images from its Daredevil series, reveals who Rosario Dawson is playing
Edu[f] No Brasil o nome será traduzido para "O Atrevido".
Apparently there’s more to New York Comic-Con than cartoon raccoons and people distancing themselves from terrorist organizations, as Marvel and Netflix also used the convention as an opportunity to promote the streaming service’s upcoming Daredevil show. A writer for io9 sat in on the panel and posted a good account of the clips that Marvel showed, which included Daredevil kicking some guy’s ass, Daredevil having a moment with Rosario Dawson’s character, Daredevil (as Matt Murdock) talking to future-love interest Karen Page, and a scene featuring Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin that was—in io9‘s words—“SENSATIONAL.”
It sounds like the show is going to stress that the Kingpin isn’t the outright villain he’s usually portrayed as, with him being more of a complicated man who sometimes does good things. Also, speaking of Rosario Dawson’s character, she won’t be playing Elektra—as ...
‘Life of Pi’ Cinematographer Claudio Miranda Shooting ‘Star Trek 3′
EduMandando bem Lord Raiden.
The Oscar win Claudio Miranda enjoyed for Life of Pi started some conversations, as that film was shot with a heavy blend of real and CG environments. But Miranda’s skill in leading a crew that works with such a combination of elements should serve him very well for his next gig. Miranda (above, center) has been hired to shoot Roberto Orci‘s Star Trek 3, which will also mark the current series’ transition from film to digital.
TrekMovie reports the Claudio Miranda Star Trek 3 hire. The two Star Trek films directed by J.J. Abrams utilized much of the same crew across the two pictures, led by cinematographer Daniel Mindel. But Mindel went with Abrams to make Star Wars Episode VII, and some of the other crew went with them.
So there are new faces behind the cameras for Star Trek 3. And while Abrams and Mindel shot the first two Trek films on actual film, in keeping with Miranda’s working methods Star Trek 3 will be shot digitally.
This won’t be the cinematographer’s first brush with sci-fi. In addition to Life of Pi, he has recently worked with Joseph Kosinski on Tron Legacy and Oblivion, and shot Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland. He also shot The Curious Case of Benjamin Button for David Fincher. (Miranda has done a lot of work with Fincher, in fact. He was the gaffer on extra Se7en shoots, and on the main unit for The Game and Fight Club, and did some uncredited cinematography on Zodiac.)

Leonardo DiCaprio won't play Steve Jobs in upcoming biopic
Edu[f] Todo mundo tá na lista de possibilidades, mas tá na cara que vai acabar sobrando para o Mark Walberg ou, no pior dos casos, Nic Cage.
Leonardo DiCaprio is no longer in talks to play Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic written by Aaron Sorkin, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This movie has been in the works for a while now, and this is the second big change that it's gone through this year: originally, David Fincher was in talks to direct it with Christian Bale as the star, but in April, the studio instead decided to put it in the hands of Danny Boyle, director of Slumdog Millionaire, with DiCaprio as its lead.
The Reporter now says that Bale is back on the list of potential names to play Jobs. Alongside him is said to be Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Bradley Cooper — though the Reporter suggests that Affleck is an unlikely choice due to scheduling conflicts. There's...
Samsung puts the metal Galaxy Note 4 through its own bend test
Edu[f] Melhor teste
Samsung wants to dismiss the idea that its upcoming Galaxy Note 4 will be as "easy" to bend as Apple's iPhone 6 Plus. Looking to capitalize on the controversy that Apple and others say shouldn't really be a controversy, Samsung has released a new video meant to showcase the strength and resiliency of its latest phablet. The Note 4 features a metal band, remember, so this was always going to be a fairer fight than pitting the 6 Plus against the plastic Note 3.
This bent iPhone 6 poster is perfect
Edu[f] Ecos de Microsoft essa Apple.
Billboards can be big and unwieldy things. Sometimes big things need to bend a little to fit into the limited space of our puny little planet. And sometimes the thing that's being advertised is so perfectly in sync with the billboard's shape as to require no further explanation.
The massive advert for the iPhone 6 above is purportedly from Berlin — a place where Samsung also maintains a big presence — while the promotional poster below comes from a store in the Netherlands. We can't yet verify the legitimacy of either image, but that's really beside the point. Either they're delightfully grand examples of self-sabotage or incredibly witty visual satire. Both work for us.

'Y: The Last Man' movie is no longer happening
Edu[f] Esqueçam isso de cinema. O que liga hoje em dia é fazer versão em point and click pela Telltale.
The acclaimed comic series Y: The Last Man will be staying just that: a comic. New Line optioned rights for a film close to a decade ago, but after sitting around for so long, they recently reverted back to the series' creators — and there's no sign right now that they'll be going anywhere else. New Line had been attempting to get a film going as recently as last year, even bringing on commercial director Dan Trachtenberg to see it through, but Trachtenberg revealed on Twitter last week that the film is done for.

Alienware just built the Mac Pro of gaming PCs
Edu[f] E não parece uma lata de lixo.
Apple's new "trash can" Mac Pro is pretty wild, but Alienware might have just snatched back the title for craziest desktop PC with its new Area-51. Gone is the rectangular tower desktop of old — in its place, Alienware's made a funky, hexagonal machine. Similar to Apple, Alienware claims the design for its new desktop has some practical benefits beyond just looking insane. Since the back of the desktop isn't perpendicular with the floor, the company says you can push the unit up against the wall without blocking its all-important ventilation. Hardcore gamers should take note that the Area-51 will ship with Intel's newest 6- and 8-core Haswell-E processors, and it can handle up to three monster, double-wide graphics cards. Just what you...

Chloë Grace Moretz Says Piracy Killed ‘Kick-Ass 3′
Edu[f] Mandaram bem piratas.
The original Kick-Ass made Chloë Grace Moretz a household name, but Kick-Ass 2 didn’t fare quite so well with moviegoers. Now Moretz says Kick-Ass 3 isn’t happening at all, and it’s all because of the “fanboys” who wouldn’t pay for the movie. Hit the jump to read her comments on Kick-Ass piracy.
Moretz discussed the problem of Kick-Ass piracy in an interview with Digital Spy.
Sadly, I think I’m done with the character. Hit-Girl was a very cool character, but I don’t think there will be any more movies. You make these movies for the fanboys, but nowadays everyone seems to pirate them rather than watch them in the movie theatre. Kick-Ass 2 was one of the number one pirated movies of the year, but that doesn’t help us because we need box office figures. We need to prove to the distributors that we can make money from a third and a fourth movie – but because it didn’t do so well, we can’t make another one.
That Kick-Ass 3 is unlikely to happen isn’t news. Kick-Ass 2 didn’t make enough money to earn a sequel, and comic book creator Mark Millar acknowledged as much in an interview earlier this month. But he didn’t blame “fanboys” for illegally downloading the last film.
To be sure, Moretz is right about piracy in a general sense. Fans should know by now that if they want a sequel to any given movie, they need to vote with their dollars by actually paying for a ticket. Not to mention it’s just wrong to enjoy the fruits of other people’s hard work without paying for it.
But the reasoning is a bit questionable when applied to the Kick-Ass films. Despite what Moretz has heard, Kick-Ass 2 was not the most pirated movie of 2013 — it didn’t even crack the top 10. The first Kick-Ass was the second most torrented film of 2010, but that’s not why there’s no Kick-Ass 3.
So maybe it’s not so much that people didn’t want to pay for Kick-Ass 2 as it was that they didn’t want to watch it in the first place. To begin with, it was dogged by controversy before it even hit theaters. Star Jim Carrey publicly denounced the movie in the wake of Sandy Hook, and refused to do any press.
Then, when the film did open, the general consensus was that it “never came close to the energy and smarts of the first movie,” as Germain put it. What felt fresh and unique the first time around fell flat the second, and piracy isn’t to blame for that.
