We’ve seen some pretty awesome bacon and tater tot recipes on the Internet, but this recipe tops them all! For the ultimate sweet and savory appetizer or dessert, you can’t go wrong with these chocolate-covered, bacon-wrapped tater tots. Or, the Bacon Choco Tot for short.

You can use any kind of bacon or chocolate that you prefer. You could even add other ingredients like caramel or nuts and go really wild and crazy with this basic recipe. Because as everyone knows, the sky is the limit where bacon is concerned!

And for the naysayers who say chocolate and tots are crazy, dontcha knock it ‘til you’ve tried it. These are scrum-diddly-umptious morsels of bacony goodness. Serve ‘em as a dessert at your next BBQ or dinner party and watch your guests devour them. ‘Cause once you tot, you can’t stop.

Bacon Choco-Tots Ingredients

1 bag frozen tater tots
1 lb. bacon
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Wrap the frozen tater tots with 1/3 to ½ strip of bacon and secure with toothpicks that have been soaked in water. Bake for 20 minutes or until bacon is done. Let cool.

2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave until just melted, being careful not to overheat. When the bacon-wrapped tots have cooled, carefully remove the toothpicks. Then dip the entire tot in the melted chocolate. Place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and place in the refrigerator to cool. Serve and enjoy!

How do you like them apples! Wow that line doesn't work in text. Regardless, we have another gigantic plushie for you all to drool over today.  This one clocks in at a whopping 45 inches tall, and includes a giant hat to go along with her.  They even engraved the hooves, color me impressed!
