O glorioso videoclipe “Gangnam Style”, do coreano Park Jae-Sang, é agora o primeiro a chegar ao patamar de 2 bilhões de visualizações. E demorou um bocado: na última noite de 2012, o maior sucesso do PSY chegava ao bilhão de visualizações no YouTube.

O sul-coreano desbancou a “Baby” de Justin Bieber desse trono também disputado pela Lady Gaga: até o momento, a “bebê do biba” conseguiu apenas metade do número de visualizações do querido estilo Gangnam.

Não sei você, mas o tio Laguna já está meio enjoado dessa música da Pior Coreia: só convenhamos que a crítica social romântica do PSY realizou um feito incrível na internê pois levou 159 dias para chegar ao primeiro bilhão. E um total de 525 dias para agora comemorarmos o segundo.

Até o Google entrou na brincadeira e celebra tal conquista do sul-coreano com um belo easter egg: vá à página do YouTube e clique em algum dos PSY dançarinos ao lado do enorme número de visualizações.

 A few years ago, I wore ’50s inspired outfits quite often and while my personal style has changed over the years, I still really love that decade fashion-wise! From time to time, I still feel the desire to put together something inspired by that era, especially when the nicer weather comes. I had originally put this look together with a high waisted skirt, but changed my mind and opted for pedal pusher style trousers instead. I thought it helped to give the overall outfit a bit more of a casual feel.

Science side here: The flash coming off of the lightning is very fast. Your phonecamera’s shutter actually takes the photo from side to side. The flash of lightning (or perhaps another lightning) struck while it was in the middle of photographing, leaving half of the photo being from before the flash, and the other half during it.
