Drone flying through fireworks
Probably the coolest fireworks video I’ve seen. Watch fullscreen and in in HD if possible.
Filmed with a DJI Phantom 2 and filming it with a GoPro Hero 3 silver.

Should Chrysler Make A 707 Horsepower Ram SRT Hellcat Truck?
D Gthe hellcat srt will still be too heavy to compete with the Z28 or Saleen

You bet your ass I'm fired up about Dodge's 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat-powered Challenger SRT . 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque is nothing short of absurd in a car. Now it's time for Chrysler to prove they've completely lost their shit and stuff that engine into a pickup truck.
Jobs Charted by State and Salary
Prominent industries in a state can say a lot about an area. Is there a lot of farming? Is there a big technology market? Couple the jobs with salary, and you also see where the money's at. You see a state's priorities.
For example, look at California. You see an increased prominence of farmworkers and laborers, whereas the farming, fishing, and forestry sector is nearly nonexistent in many other parts of the country. I expected a lot more in the midwest states, but relative to the other occupations in those states, the farming sector doesn't seem that big from an employee perspective.
For a drastic change, switch to Washington, D.C., where people who work in the legal and business sectors are much more common. I realize it's a comparison between a city and states, but whoa, that's a lot of lawyers packed in one place.
Move the median salary up a bit, and you get a sense of overall salaries (and a correlating cost of living, kind of) as you check out different states.
Anyway, it's an interesting first look at employment data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. I'll have to poke more.

Why Your Brain Kept Telling You to Blow into NES Catridges

We all know that blowing into an NES cartridge is a useless and potentially harmful activity . But why did we still do it, even though it never actually worked? Science has the answer.
Girl In Iron Man Tights Shows Off Sick Hula Hoop Skillz

This is a video of hula hoopspert Rachael Lust showing off all her hooping tricks and stunts. Clearly she has been practicing. I actually didn't learn to hula hoop until two summers ago. I just tried it one night when I was drunk and finally understood how to do it. Then the next morning I woke up and tried to do it again but couldn't. Now I get drunk every night and try to chase that dream. "Sounds like a thinly veiled excuse to get drunk every night." I'M CHASING A DREAM.
Keep going for the video, but feel free to skip around because most of the crazier shit is later. Two new Sonic Boom trailers show off one super extraordinary team
D GSANIC!!!!
In May, I had a chance to check out the two upcoming Sonic Boom games -- Rise of Lyric and Shattered Crystal. I was surprisingly impressed by one, and unsurprisingly unimpressed by the other.
These two trailers make both of the games look pretty alright. It's almost like that's what trailers are created to do. So, while you watch these, think to yourself "This trailer isn't necessarily indicative of what the final products will be like. These games might be really good. Or they could be really bad. Or they could be somewhere in between." That should temper your expectations appropriately.

This Wasp Defends Its Home With the Cadavers of Its Victims

The "bone house" wasp (Deuteragenia ossarium) is named so because the newly classified species of spider wasp has adopted a unique method of protecting their nests—they simply fill the front hall with ant corpses.
One owner 56K Mile 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula
This 1988 Fiero Formula is being offered by the original owner with only 56,000 miles on the odometer and has the preferred V6/5-speed drivetrain. The pictures of the interior and exterior seem to back up the low mileage claim. The Formula model was a one-year only option that included the mechanical updates from the Fiero GT without all the plastic cladding, giving it the looks of an early, slanted C-pillar car with the improvements of later models. Find it here on ksl.com in Tremonton, UT for $5,000.
