Christopher LantzProf Elemental.... needs better embalming fluid.
“This Is My Horse (show me yours)” is a new single from Chap Hop artist Professor Elemental featuring a bizarre dance party with a gorilla wearing a horse mask. Like previous music videos “I’m British” and “Fighting Trousers,” the horse-centric video was directed by Moog with music by Tom Caruana.

The oddly hilarious blog Thumbs and Ammo is based on the simple premise that a movie character brandishing a gun looks an awful lot like someone giving the thumbs-up sign. All it takes is a positive attitude and a little digital manipulation.
Real tough guys don’t need guns, they just need a positive, can-do attitude

Christopher LantzGod, I have such a hard on for this show.
“There is a beast in every man and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand.”
Season 3 of HBO’s original series Game of Thrones is set to premiere on March 31, 2013. They recently released two new sneak peek trailers that are titled “War Preview” and “The Beast.” Winter is coming very soon.
Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.
It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men…all will play the ‘Game of Thrones.’

Matthew Weiner‘s intense secrecy can get a bit frustrating for fans eager to know more, but it has its upsides as well. One is the fact that even the barest hints about Mad Men turn into an exciting guessing game.
After a batch of totally unrevealing promo stills and an even more opaque teaser trailer, we now have our first look at the official Season 6 poster. There’s still no direct indication of where the new episodes are headed, but there are plenty of clues about key themes coming up. Even better, said clues are depicted by Brian Sanders, a veteran illustrator once employed by Stanley Kubrick to paint and draw scenes from the set of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Hit the jump to check it out.
As with posters from previous seasons, the scene depicted is more symbolic than literal. The off-kilter angle suggests that Don’s world will be thrown off balance next season, while the “Stop,” “One Way,” and “Madison Avenue” signs indicate he’ll find himself at a crossroads. Or something. And then there are so many other hints that seem even tougher to crack:
And so on, and so forth. Feel free to discuss your guesses in the comments, or just sit back and enjoy the art for the beautiful, interesting work that it is. For fun, we’ve also included the main promo posters from all past Mad Men seasons in the gallery below.
Mad Men returns April 7, as indicated by the ad. Here’s a featurette in which creator/showrunner Matthew Weiner and Jon Hamm, Jessica Pare, and Rich Sommer hint about what we can expect from the new season.
Christopher LantzI want to be a faceless assassin too!
GAME OF THRONES MEME: seven quotes [3/7]
“Swift as a deer. Quiet as a shadow. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Quick as a snake. Calm as still water.”

Boomerang for Gmail is a Firefox and Chrome plugin that lets Gmail users schedule when emails are sent and received. The plugin has several clever features: Emails can be composed and then scheduled to be sent at a later time. If an incoming message needs to be dealt with later, it can be archived and set to return to the top of the inbox at a scheduled time. And to keep track of important conversations, Boomerang can send a reminder if a sent email does not receive a reply after a certain period of time. Boomerang is also available for Outlook and Google Calendar. Boomerang was created by Baydin, a Mountain View, California-based software company.
