Bitcoin 2.0 Crowdfunding Is Real Crowdfunding
In the past few months we’ve been hearing a lot about how bitcoin’s underlying technology is going to revolutionize not only our monetary system, but also notary services, DNS, authentication, intellectual property ownership and data storage. While most of the amazing products and services that were supposed to emerge on top of the bitcoin protocol have yet to see light,… Read MoreSee the difference that one missing ingredient can have in baking a cake

Baking a cake is a labor of love but also just basic chemistry, you're mixing ingredients together and making it react into something delicious. But each ingredient is important! Leaving out eggs or baking powder or butter can change the cake dramatically. Here's what a cake looks like without one of those ingredients.
A zombie game featuring Jesus is a lot better than it sounds
In what looks like a mash-up of Monty Python's Life of Brian with the low-budget special effects and gore seen in films like the Toxic Avenger, Spain-based Mutant Games brings us the Fist of Jesus -- an arcade-style beat-'em-up in which in which you play as either the titular Jesus, or his sidekick Judas.
It's as ridiculous as it sounds, and I'm loving every minute of it. Based on the short film of the same name, the premise is that something goes terribly wrong when Jesus attempts to bring Lazarus back from the dead. Instead of returning to the world of the living, Lazarus is inadvertently turned into a flesh-eating zombie. As you might have guessed, hilarity ensues.
This is just one of those games that is just too strange for me to pass by. Every now and again it's nice to fire up a silly game without judging its technical merits or polish and just enjoy the weird for what it is. The gameplay actually doesn't look half bad, either.
Doctor Records Verbal Exchange with Nurse Infected with Ebola

Prior to her transfer to the National Institute of Health Clinical Care Center in Maryland, a doctor treating nurse Nina Pham for ebola recorded this interaction with her. Dr. Gary Weinstein of Texas Health Presbyterian in Dallas filmed his goodbye to Pham, in which she was seen giving a tearful response. The video, if nothing else, is a good illustration of the protective gear medical personnel must wear in the treatment of ebola patients to prevent being infected with the deadly virus. It is being reported Pham requested that the video be circulated. -Via Viral Viral Videos

A Bad Lip Reading of The Walking Dead Season 4 (part two)
When we got a Bad Lip Reading episode of The Walking Deada couple of weeks ago, we were promised a part two. Here it is! Although the musical interludes are not as involved as Coral’s rap in the earlier video, we get to hear Tyrese, Michonne, and a walker all croon a little. “I hope you’re not afraid of owls, ‘cause I’m gettin’ you one.” -via Uproxx
Zombie Cutting Boards Are Possibly The Most College Thing Ever

We're now past the first week of October, which is traditionally right about the time that college students realize that they might need more in their kitchen than an endless supply of Solo cups. If you're on the hunt for a chopping board to do some actual cooking on (or just to lower the tone a little further), these undead chopping boards should just about do it.

Amazing Street Artist In Rome Shows Off Skills
For some people, art is an act of extreme patience. Certain master's works can take months and even years to finish. There are some other artists who seem to found ways to streamline the entire process down from Weeks to days, from days to hours, and finally, from hours to minutes.
Take, for example, this street artist in Rome. While it may look like he is starting with a simple rainbow, what he ends up with with will amaze you.

Just speaking from experience, if I were to try and duplicate that, it would take me sixty-three months. Just trying to put it in perspective just how impressive this guy is.
Inventors Claim This Fork Can Make Food Taste Like Any Other Food
(Image: Molecule-R)
It's called the Aromafork. Molecule-R, a company in Montreal, is marketing it as a way to make food tastier. The premise is that if food smells better, it will taste better. The hole in the fork has a space for a scent-infused slip of paper. Bringing the fork to your mouth to eat brings the paper to your nose, filling your nostrils with that scent instead of the smell of the food.
The company currently sells 21 different aromas, including mint, strawberry, wasabi, and cheesecake. What flavors would you like to smell in your fork?

This Minature Hand-Powered Espresso Machine Takes Caffeine Everywhere
As addictive mind-altering substances go, coffee is actually pretty hard to hit up on the move. If you're out of range of a Starbucks, getting a hot, caffeine-rich epsresso generally requires a 20-pound machine and mains electricity, which is exactly the first-world problem this dinky espresso machine exists to tackle.
