Linda Brownlee is an Irish director and photographer currently based in London. Drawn to all sorts of communities and cultures, much of her work delicately explores the intricate energy of people and places she visits.

His latest short film is titled No Blue Without Yellow, in which he utilized sampled paintings, following consequential times in Vincent Van Gogh’s life, to sculpt a 3-D version of the world Van Gogh lived. This short film will be released in partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.




New work from Toronto-born, Edmonton-based artist Kirsty Templeton-Davidge (previously featured here). Rooted in the enduring genre of figurative painting, Templeton Davidge explores ideas of observing, looking and perception. Basic concepts like pictorial representation, negative space and the absence or presence of form are central tenants of her work.
Noticing details – hands, clothing, body language – reveals a potent blend of tension and beauty while maintaining an underlying psychological charge that carries an emotional weight.
