We took in a stray cat that had a nasty eye infection, so bad that we had to take his eyes out. Being completely blind, one of our older cats decided to take care and help him around the house. I found them later asleep like this.

Get ready for new area code, 10-digit dialing

Officials with the Public Utility Commission issue a reminder that your dialing habits will soon have to change.
The big change happens within the next two weeks. “As of June 1st, which is not long, all people living in the 512 area code will need to dial ten digits.”
PUC chair Donna Nelson says that change will coincide with the new area code, 737, which will apply to all new Central Texas phone numbers. The 737 area code also kicks in June 1st. Nelson says because of growth in the area, 512 numbers are being exhausted and the new area code is needed.
