Stop it, media. Stop trying to make this awful, evil, despicable woman into some kind of fucking icon for good or a moderating influence on her shitty fucking evil family.
WASHINGTON—Hours after casting his vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act and replace it with the GOP-authored American Health Care Act, Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) reportedly terrified his constituents even further Friday by assuring them he had read every word of the newly passed healthcare bill. “I made sure to read the AHCA bill line by line before I went up to the rostrum to vote Yea,” said Amash in a chilling statement, which according to reports caused the blood to drain from the faces of all 700,000 constituents of his Western Michigan district. “After acquainting myself with each of the provisions of this new bill and carefully reviewing every section, I was able to make the [extremely frightening] decision to support it. I think it’s important to be informed on the issues.” At press time, residents of Michigan’s 3rd district were reportedly frozen in fear after Amash stated that he would be displeased if the Senate voted to remove any parts of the bill.

When I was a kid, I hated shoes. Now, if I don't wear shoes with arch supports, my feet get tired on their own, and then they hurt.
absolutely HATE HATE HATING the feel of literally all shoes but nobody lets you go very far without them and when you dont have to wear shoes the feeling of dirt or pavement on your feet is also terrible and you just CANT unless you’re barefoot and on grass
You’d probably think someone who talks to themselves out loud is a little “off,” but they might actually be on to something. Talking to yourself is a great way to better understand what you’re learning.
Much has been written about Trump having narcissistic personality disorder. As critics have pointed out, merely saying a leader is narcissistic is hardly disqualifying. But malignant narcissism is like a malignant tumor: toxic.
Psychoanalyst and Holocaust survivor Erich Fromm, who invented the diagnosis of malignant narcissism, argues that it “lies on the borderline between sanity and insanity.” Otto Kernberg, a psychoanalyst specializing in borderline personalities, defined malignant narcissism as having four components: narcissism, paranoia, antisocial personality and sadism. Trump exhibits all four.
His narcissism is evident in his “grandiose sense of self-importance … without commensurate achievements.” From viewing cable news, he knows "more about ISIS than the generals” and believes that among all human beings on the planet, “I alone can fix it.” His “repeated lying," “disregard for and violation of the rights of others” (Trump University fraud and multiple sexual assault allegations) and “lack of remorse” meet the clinical criteria for anti-social personality. His bizarre conspiracy theories, false sense of victimization, and demonization of the press, minorities and anyone who opposes him are textbook paranoia. Like most sadists, Trump has been a bully since childhood, and his thousands of vicious tweets make him perhaps the most prolific cyber bully in history.
TRUMP JUST WANTED A ‘WIN’: Politico reports on a call between Trump and Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), who had opposed the health-care bill, angering Trump, before delivering the amendment that salvaged it:
“Trump did not want to talk about the merits of the legislation — he didn’t care much about those specifics, senior officials said. What mattered to him was how a failed vote would hobble his presidency and the ability to get other legislation through Congress. He wanted a win.”
As always, Trump clearly has no knowledge whatsoever of what’s in his policies or the human toll they would inflict on millions.
Edward Crawford, the man featured in the iconic Ferguson protest photograph throwing a tear gas canister, was found dead overnight, his father said. Police say it appears the death was from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He has become the symbol of fighting for justice for so many people and now we lost him. RIP.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
Dad says son was training for a new job and seemed real happy/good when he saw him on Wednesday.
This is the second time a Ferguson activist has been found dead, shot, in their car.

EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND LISTEN TO THIS RIGHT FUCKING NOW
Why is this a thing that exists?
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
“on the boooooolovarrrd of brooookennnn dreeeemmsss”
I turned this on and at that moment my roommate opened the curtains, and I immediately had this epic video in my head of us cleaning our apartment, and raising a castle around it with hammers and magic.
I’ve introduced so many people to Gregorian: the best way to do it is to slip it into a normal playlist.
Mother cat with kittens came to meet an old friend.
I can’t believe we’ve already found the best animal video of 2016.
That is too adorable. You can tell the mother cat actually does trust the dog just by her body language. Typically a mother will watch her kittens closely and be very protective of them, here she completely trusts the dog to play gentle with them. This is just too damn cute.
When he bops the kitten and looks up at Mom to make sure he didn’t overstep!
The dog is trying to make himself as non-threatening as possible!!
Congrats, anti-vaxxors. I guess your kids are better off dead than like me. Oh wait, there's no link, so you're just letting your kids, and your neighbor's kids die for no damn reason.
Dozens of people in Minnesota have been diagnosed with measles in recent weeks, leading health officials to consider imposing a mandatory isolation and quarantine order on some people who have been exposed.
The Minnesota Health Department announced Thursday a total of 41 confirmed cases since April 11, 2017. This week alone, the agency confirmed seven new cases, including the first in a child outside the original affected area and the first case involving an adult.
Most of the exposures have occurred in either child care, health care, or household settings. To date, more than 2,500 people have been exposed, the Department states.
Disease investigators follow up with each confirmed case to determine how the person became infected and who was exposed to the case while they were infectious. Those exposed people who are determined not to be immune to measles – because they have not been vaccinated nor had the disease – are asked to exclude themselves from school, work or child care for 21 days.
“Once measles begins to spread in unvaccinated populations, it can be very difficult to stop,” Kris Ehresmann, director of infectious disease control for MDH, said in a statement. “We would not be surprised if we saw additional cases in other parts of the state where there are clusters of unvaccinated people before this is over.”
In fact, the Health Department says that all but two of the cases have been in individuals without immunity protection. This week two people who had the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine fell ill.
One of those individuals happened to involve a health care worker who was exposed to several infected children, Ehresmann said.
The spread of the outbreak prompted state officials to begin considering isolation or quarantine for those exposed to the infection, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
“We have some people who have not followed what we asked, and they have been blatant in exposing other people,” Ehresmann said, noting that those exposed had been asked to avoid public places. “They have potentially spread the disease in other locations.”
Donald Trump defended yesterday's "religious freedom" executive order by talking about soldiers who were unable to receive Bibles when they wanted them. That whole story was a lie.
Bella is a tireless 2-year-old dog who is constantly looking for adventures. However, some are too big for the tiny pup, so she needs a little boost. Luckily, Bella has the perfect sidekick to aid her.

Enter Hank. This 10-year-old is Bella’s best friend and the duo is inseparable. “They absolutely love each other,” Adriana Burkhart, Bella’s mom, told The Dodo. “Bella lives with me and Hank stays at my parents, but whenever I bring her home they both go crazy when they see each other.”
Bella is a smart pup, so she quickly realized that Hank is a much bigger dog. Basically, Bella is almost on top of Hank when they’re spending time together. From napping to roaming around the house and begging for treats – they’re like two parts of the same body. Even their coats are the same color!
“Hank is getting pretty old so it’s good for him to have a dog like Bella that keeps him active,” Adriana says. “She entertains herself but loves to mess with Hank while doing so. He’ll run around with her but when he gets tired he can sit down and she’ll just hang out on top of him for a while. They are the best.”
