Yeah, Tony’s got some Sal Issues, it seems.
Panel one has my first, awkwardly-executed attempt at hinting that Robin is also into ladies but deeply in denial about it. I mean, really, looking at just this panel, it just looks like Robin’s into Joyce-the-dude, which is unremarkable if she’s normally just into dudes. I was thinking that she was very quick to accept Joyce as cute as a dude because that gave her a version of Joyce she wouldn’t mentally fight to accept as cute, versus everyone else kind of having trouble accepting their changed bodies. Like I said, awkwardly-executed. But that was my original intent.
Just locking down those gender stereotypes. Guys are horny, check; women want shoes, check. Some revolutionary stuff here, so far!
