A young man named Jack was the first person in Perth, Australia to buy the new Apple iPhone 6 (see previously) which went on sale September 19th, 2014. During an interview with 9 News Perth, Jack dropped the phone on the ground immediately after opening the box. In the video, Jack says, “We’re good,” over a roaring crowd as he picks up the phone, but 9 News Perth says the fall scratched the phone’s screen.
It’s always best to stay calm when you’re handling something fragile – as the first Perth man to buy an iPhone 6 found out this morning.

We’ve come to expect nothing less than the best from Nike‘s Air Force 1 line and this latest presentation doesn’t disappoint. The recipient of innumerable collabs, reworkings, and tributes since its 1982 release, the basketball born-and-bred sneaker is back in this ACG-inspired Mowabb silo. First and foremost, the original 1991 Mowabb colorway fits nicely across the upper, which is also decked out with new materials and even a Huarache-eqsue neoprene inner sleeve. Underfoot, Lunarlon cushioning does the hard job of keeping us comfortable in a white on black speckled styling. The look is finished with AF1 branding on the bootie and tongue. Unfortunately, we’ll have to sit tight for this Holiday 2014 release to hit retailers.

Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim are returning to Adult Swim tonight with a new anthology, Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories, premiering at 12:15 a.m., and what you should know is: You, like me, can be a totally hip, with-it kind of person and be exhausted with Tim & Eric, with Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie and their aesthetic of comedy through titration, and so far absolutely love Bedtime Stories, which is by design (individual, 11-minute tales) like nightmares you keep awakening into.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters, Krispy Kreme will be selling two glorious sugarcoated confections.
Between Sept. 29 and Oct. 31, you can get your very own to put in your mouth. According to the release, the two doughnuts will be:
Ghostbusters Doughnut: A marshmallow Kreme-filled shell topped with white icing, a decorative green “splat” inspired by Slimer, and a Ghostbusters logo sugar piece.

An Ohio woman shot and killed a local teen on Sunday after he and three other teenagers were allegedly caught trespassing in her home at 4 a.m. At the time of the shooting, the teen was reportedly wearing an Insane Clown Posse mask and standing over the bed of her son holding a knife. Police later discovered that the two boys had been friends.

Disgruntled Teen Worker Rubs Balls on Stuffed-Crust Hawaiian Pizza
Austin Michael Symonds, an 18-year-old employee of a Papa Murphy's pizzeria in Georgetown, Texas, was arrested by police last week after he was allegedly caught by a customer rubbing his scrotum on a pizza order. According to the arrest warrant obtained by the Austin American-Statesman, the customer confronted the teen, asking him his age and then, "So you are old enough to know better than to put your balls on someone's pizza?" Symonds responded by saying, "Yes," before apparently telling the customer, "Man, I am really sorry, that was stupid."

A video of an anonymous woman riding around a city on a motorbike throwing litter dropped by motorists back into their cars has gone viral.
The accompanying text is in Russian, so presumably the city she's riding around in is located in Russia.
The woman – who is only heard, not seen – captures the litterers in action on her headcam. Her video helpfully circles the moment the litter drops.
The anonymous vigilante then rides up to confront the litterers, who are very disgruntled.
After a bit of back-and-forth shouting, she throws the litter back into the car and on to the driver's lap.
Creepy Quadrupedal Soft Robot Wiggles Its Way Across Fire and Gets Run Over by a Car
Harvard University scientists have taken their quadrupedal soft robot (see previously) out for some field tests to demonstrate just how resilient the admittedly somewhat creepy walking robot can be. Tests show the robot traversing flames, crawling over heavy snow, and getting run over by a car, all while using an onboard camera to observe its environment.
The soft robot is safe to interact with during operation, and its silicone body is innately resilient to a variety of adverse environmental conditions including snow, puddles of water, direct (albeit limited) exposure to flames, and the crushing force of being run over by an automobile.
