There's a Secret Message Hidden In Perception's Kickstarter
There's a secret message hidden within the Kickstarter page for new horror game Perception.
The Deep End Games -- a new studio composed almost entirely of developers who worked on Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, including Bill Gardner, The Deep End's founder -- revealed its new horror game yesterday.
The Kickstarter page details the usual information about the storyline, funding aspirations and the team itself, but near the end of the page, tucked into the stretch goals section of the campaign, lies text written in Braille.
Someone submitted a rainy screenshot from Jurassic Park to the local news. (x-post /r/houston)

Gus Fring Action Figure Has Half Its Face
It took me a while to get into Breaking Bad, but when I did I watched nothing but Heisenberg for a month or so until I had seen the entire series. I know I am not the only one who saw Gus come walking out of that exploded room and wondered how he made it out – until I saw he didn’t actually make it out.
Back in March, I talked a bit about a Gus Fring action figure that had his entire face. If you prefer dead Gus walking, this new action figure is missing half his face. The action figure is straightening his tie and even comes with a bucket of Los Pollos Hermanos “fry batter.”
The figure is a limited edition with 12,000 of them being made. That is a large production run for a limited edition product, but it’s still cool. Get your own for $24.99(USD) at ThinkGeek.
This and this alone would make me quit smoking…

The Sun's Magnetic Field Has Never Looked So Good

In photographs taken in the spectrum of visible light, the Sun’s magnetic field is invisible. But this image wasn’t taken in our familiar, visible wavelengths, which is why the Sun’s magnetic field is both apparent and beautiful.
