Ned Flanders-Inspired Heavy Metal Band Drops Their First Music Video

Ned Flanders hasn't inspired churchies to hit the gym and get ripped or to grow cool moustaches, but he has inspired one heavy metal band to trade in their leather jackets for sensible sweaters.
They're called Okilly Dokilly, and despite the evil sound of their songs they worship at the altar of Nedal, meaning you would mistake those guys for bible salesmen if you saw them on the street.
And even though they're from Phoenix, Arizona instead of Springfield, USA their first music video "White Wine Spritzer" will give you a taste of what it's like to live next door to The Simpsons!

‘Live By Night’ Trailer: Witness The Price of The American Dream
Next week brings the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and there are so many movies desperate to get promotion in front of the huge audience going to see the Harry Potter spin-off. And it seems Warner Bros. Pictures will be taking advantage of that by releasing a new trailer for Ben Affleck‘s latest directorial effort Live By Night.
Watch the new Live By Night trailer after the jump.
The film is based on Dennis Lehane‘s novel of the same name, and while the Harry Potter crowd that will be full of kids might not be the best place to promote an R-rated drama like this, Fantastic Beasts is rated PG-13 and there will be plenty of adults in theaters interested in seeing something without the kids at some point. And this looks like it will be an intense period crime thriller heading for Oscar contention.
Live By Night feels like exactly the kind of movie I was hoping to see in Gangster Squad, but ended up walking away being immensely disappointed. Plus, the cinematography on display from Robert Richardson (The Hateful Eight, The Aviator) looks positively stunning.
In addition to the appeal of Ben Affleck being at the helm of a movie again, as well as starring in the lead role, the rest of the cast includes Elle Fanning, Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller, Chris Sullivan, Anthony Michael Hall, Brendan Gleeson, Scott Eastwood, Titus Welliver, Chris Messina, Chris Cooper, and Derek Mears.
Watch the first trailer for Live By Night over here if you haven’t seen it yet.
Live by Night is set in the roaring `20s when Prohibition hasn’t stopped the flow of booze in an underground network of gangster-run speakeasies. The opportunity to gain power and money is there for any man with enough ambition and nerve and Joe Coughlin, the son of the Boston Police Superintendent, long ago turned his back on his strict upbringing for the spoils of being an outlaw. But even among criminals there are rules and Joe breaks a big one: crossing a powerful mob boss by stealing his money and his moll. The fiery affair ends in tragedy, setting Joe on a path of revenge, ambition, romance and betrayal that propels him out of Boston and up the ladder of Tampa’s steamy rum-running underworld.
Live By Night hits limited theaters on December 25, but arrives in theaters everywhere on January 13, 2017.

Chewbacca Speaks English
Wonderful bit of stuff from @jamieswb!! pic.twitter.com/oObW8Cll2f
— Peter Mayhew (@TheWookieeRoars) November 5, 2016
Something you never thought about before, but it makes perfect sense: Chewbacca had his own lines in Star Wars. While filming, Peter Mayhew spoke those lines in English to give flow to his conversations with Han Solo. But since they spoke in different languages, Chewbacca was overdubbed in Wookiee. When Mayhew posted this Tweet, the first comment was
there's something wonderful about a narked off Wookie with a Yorkshire accent, i'd have loved that in the final cut

Common Ground, a Long-Distance Rube Goldberg Project

Common Ground is a "collaborative kinetic art installation about connecting America." The project was spearheaded by Jason Naumoff and AJ White of the design company New Creatures. They got teams together in five different cities to create a mega-Rube Goldberg chain reaction that would connect the five teams long-distance. Each team highlighted their city and the issues it faces. The project was also about the communication between the teams, which was crucial in making it work. See, each section had to trigger the next section, no matter how far away it is. The result is pretty neat.
They were all awesome, but you have to admit that Detroit won this one. Read more about the project at its website, and keep up with the group's activities at Facebook. -via Uproxx
This Is the Best Group Ant-Man Cosplay You'll Ever See

Patent drawings of a Samsung foldable phone design published
Samsung has a tendency to throw stuff at the wall, and see what sticks. I don't mean that in a negative way - many of their seemingly-bizarre experiments became wildly popular (see: S7 edge). A patent application submitted by Samsung shows their concept of a foldable smartphone, and it's interesting to say the least.
There have been a few attempts at a foldable smartphone in the past - the ill-fated Kyocera Echo comes to mind.

There's New Footage of That Baby Iguana Battling Killer Snakes
CoreyThis is pretty awesome.

The only thing attracting more attention than the US election right now is that harrowing Planet Earth II video showing a recently hatched iguana as it fends off an army of snakes. For those who can’t get enough of this clip, BBC Earth has released some new footage of the encounter as it was being filmed.

Did Walter White Create The Zombie Apocalypse?
Netflix has put together this Fan Theory video that tries to connect two very popular shows on AMC. The basis of the theory is that the Blue Sky drug that Walter White created in Breaking Bad is what led to the zombie apocalypse in The Walking Dead… and they have some evidence to give the concept some credence. Did Glenn sell a car to Walter? Was Jesse the drug dealer Daryl was talking about? It’s an entertaining theory.
Dave Chappelle Is Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ for the First Time Later This Month
Dave Chappelle stunned the entertainment industry and his fans about 10 years ago when he walked away from his wildly successful Comedy Central sketch comedy show Chappelle’s Show, which included a $50 million contract at the cable network. Many called him crazy, but his reasoning as a comedian with integrity and principles was sound. Chappelle likely could have handled it better for the sake of his co-workers, but that’s all in the past.
Since then, Chappelle has returned to the world of comedy, headlining the Oddball Comedy Festival, and appearing randomly at various small venues for surprise appearances at the last minute. But now he’s bringing his talents to an entirely unexpected arena: Saturday Night Live.
NBC has announced that we’ll see Dave Chappelle hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time on November 12. This is a huge surprise since the actor has been essentially non-existent in television, with the exception of a handful of appearances on late night TV a few years ago. Just last year Chappelle had a small role in Spike Lee’s movie Chi-raq, which marked the comedian’s first film role in 13 years. For Chappelle to choose SNL as the place to make a return to sketch comedy is a shocking one, but it will certainly make for an exciting episode.
Chappelle will be joined by the hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, who are releasing their first and last studio album on November 11th. Having them on the show along with Chappelle is a perfect fit since he’s been a longtime fan and supporter of the group.
Even though Dave Chappelle was a huge name in comedy, especially among younger crowds, in the early to mid-2000s, I’m not sure if this will be an episode that will pull in a lot of ratings. Surely there will be plenty of fans tuning in our of sheer curiosity, and Chappelle will undoubtedly make for a more diverse crowd to tune into SNL who otherwise might not be interested in a comedic cast that is predominantly white.
But as a comedy nerd, I’m just interested to see what the writers and cast of SNL do with someone with such a brilliant comedic mind as Chappelle’s. Will SNL go for more racial humor than normal? Many would argue that Saturday Night Live has lost the edge it used to have when it first started out as a show that went expressly against network standards and the rules of comedy on television. So maybe Chappelle will inspire some of the attitude that some think the show has lost over the years.
For those hoping that Chappelle might reprise some of his famous characters from his own show, I’m not sure that’s legally possible. Comedy Central likely owns the rights to all those characters, so I don’t think NBC would be able to utilize them on the late night sketch comedy show.
All I know is I’ll be waiting for this episode with great anticipation, and we’ll have a recap of the show the day after it airs. And don’t forget, this weekend brings Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch to SNL as host for the first time, so stay tuned this weekend for our recap of that show as well.
If you haven’t watched it yet, I recommend Dave Chappelle’s episode of Inside the Actors Studio to get some more insight into his comedic mind and the decisions he made with his career:

First (Red Band) Trailer for Daniel Clowes’ Wilson Hits the Net
Daniel Clowes‘ graphic novel Wilson was originally published in 2010, and Fox Searchlight nabbed the film rights shortly thereafter. However, it took a while for the production to get going, as well as the replacement of original intended director Alexander Payne with Craig Johnson. The time has finally come though, and with the movie set for March 3, 2017 release, Fox Searchlight has released a “red band” trailer, which you can view as soon as you’ve clicked the pause button on Bleeding Cool’s helpful and not-at-all-intrusive autoplay video advertisements so that you can actually hear what’s going on. Wilson stars Woody Harrelson, Laura Dern, Isabella Amara, Judy Greer, and Cheryl Hine.
