Instead of appearing in person to accept a Webby Award for Person of the Year, camera-shy street artist Banksy submitted this acceptance video to be played at the ceremony of their 18th annual awards. The UK-based artist's video humorously describes his artist residency in New York City in 2013, which "became less an art show than a citywide, full-contact game of hide and seek."

Great Job, Internet!: Gilbert Gottfried lent his dulcet tones to some video games

While technology advances and video gaming improves, they have lacked a certain, specific flair that is the sound of Gilbert Gottfried screaming at his enemies. GameInformer recognized this failure of the video game industry and enlisted the comedian to revisit dialogue from some of gaming’s most famous characters from the likes of The Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario Brothers, Resident Evil, and others. Gamers likely never realized just how whiny the dragon shout from Skyrim could sound, or how much more immersive Bioshock Infinite would’ve been with Gottfried’s grating voice. But living in this, the best of all possible worlds, viewers can experience Scorpion killing his opponents while accompanied by a nasally-voiced quip.

The Five-year Twitter Pause
In May of 2009, the Twitter account of Frank Furter posted three tweets. That was all.

Five years. Five years that account has lain dormant, in order to complete a joke about the famous pause in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Good job, Dr. Frank-N-Furter!

49 Things You Never Knew About Game Of Thrones

There are fans who read every book in George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series before watching Game of Thrones on TV, fans who got into the dark fantasy series through the HBO show, and those who only know about the series from what they've read online.
Each category of GoT fan thinks they know a thing or two about the epic series, but even the most diehard GoT trivia junkie will discover something they don’t know about their favorite show on BuzzFeed's list of 49 Things You Never Knew About Game Of Thrones.
Okay, so many of these things have been on other “things you don’t know about…” lists, but this comprehensive list takes the cake if only because of one factoid alone- DJ Hodor!
Watch Metallica Perform The National Anthem At San Francisco Giants 2nd Annual Metallica Night

Last year, the San Francisco Giants honored their hometown boys Metallica with a special “Metallica Night" where the members of the group performed "The National Anthem" and threw out the first pitch at the baseball game.
Yesterday, the metal titans returned to AT&T Park for the 2nd Annual Metallica Night, where drummer Lars Ulrich threw out the first pitch, and guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett did their blistering rendition of "The National Anthem" - you can check out that video of that here below [...]

Yasiel Puig makes a ridiculous catch

Yasiel Puig made a ridiculous catch tonight on a ball hit into the gap by Wilmer Flores. That's what Yasiel Puig does. Deal with it.
Your browser does not support iframes.Steve Schreiber summed it up nicely:
I'm not even upset. Watching Yasiel Puig play baseball is lots of fun.

First Trailer For Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service
CoreyGoing to be good.
A title change and a handful of images later, here’s the first trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Taron Egerton plays delinquent nephew to Colin Firth, one of the top agents at Kingsman, who sees potential in his young protege despite his rough exterior. At the “most dangerous job interview in the world,” Egerton and other young recruits are put through tests like their sleeping quarters filling with water and jumping out of a plane with one man missing a parachute.
Looks like a fun mix of humor and action, and I loved the footage they showed at WonderCon, so definitely looking forward to this one on October 24th.
