Before you marry a person you should first make them use a computer with slow Internet to see who they truly are.

It’s summertime (almost), which means the season for unnecessarily judging and envying the scantily clad bodies of the famous is upon us—starting with Britney Spears! Brit has yo-yoed between looking good and terrible in the many years since her fall from teen pop princess hotness. But after pictures of her in a bikini surfaced this week, it seems her body is back in favor with all the bitches on the web. Go Britney!
So who else is in her good company…and who isn’t?
Take a peek!

Rihanna. Duh.
Britney Spears has been working hard. She looks pretty good, for Britney Spears.
Jessica Alba, how is it possible that have you had children, plural?
Hugh Jackman...is hot. ‘Nuff said.

Olivia Wilde. What a surprise.
Quentin Tarantino. I love this man’s movies. But that doesn’t mean I ever want to see pictures of him in a bathing suit. Ever.
Ke$ha. What is happening in this picture? Those bottoms do not help.
Courtney Love, channeling Tara Reid.
Sean Astin. Frodo would not approve. On second thought, based on that final scene in LOR, maybe he would…
Coco. Clearly she needed all that oil in order to get into that waaaaay too small suit. Admittedly, there are some people out there who would find this “hot.” But in this humble opinion, the overall trashiness of the situation outweighs that opinion. Or maybe that’s just the extra weight of her HUGE boobs and butt?
Who’s going to have the best beach bodies this year? Comment and let us know!

D Gslideshow + popups but it's worth it
I should re-phrase the title of this post, but I’m not going to.
Right, so… This is a list of some lovely celebrity ladies with and without bangs.
Here is the game: In the comments below, tell us who you would “Bang” (and by “bang” I mean, who do you prefer with a pro-bangs ‘do), and who you would “Not Bang” (and by “not bang” I mean, who do you prefer with a naked forehead.)
1. Zooey Deschanel: Bang, or Not Bang?
2. Kaley Cuocu: Bang, or Not Bang?
3. Angelina Jolie: Bang, or Not Bang?
4. Liv Tyler: Bang, or Not Bang?
5. Jessica Biel: Bang, Or Not Bang?
6. Keira Knightly: Bang, or Not Bang?
7. Sienna Miller: Bang, or Not Bang?
8. Kate Beckinsale: Bang, or Not Bang?
9. Emma Stone: Bang, or Not Bang?
10. Jennifer Lawrence: Bang, or Not Bang?
With or without bangs, all of these woman are disturbingly good looking, and 10/10 would bang* (*Not referring to the hairdo, but the other kind of do.)
But seriously, I can barely recognize Zooey Deschanel without bangs…

Just one day after disclosing the existence of a secret court order between the National Security Agency (NSA) and Verizon, The Guardian and The Washington Post both published secret presentation slides revealing the existence of a previously undisclosed massive surveillance program called PRISM. The program has the capability to collect data “directly from the servers” of major American tech companies, including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook and Yahoo. (Dropbox is said to be “coming soon.”)
The newspapers describe the system as one giving the National Security Agency and the FBI direct access to a huge number of online commercial services, capable of “extracting audio, video, photographs, e-mails, documents, and connection logs that enable analysts to track a person’s movements and contacts over time.”

Universal Studios has announced that the latest installment in the long running franchise ‘Fast and Furious 6′ has reached the $500 million mark faster than any film in the studio’s history, no pun intended.
The film had an impressive debut in Europe and on opening weekend during the Memorial Day holiday in the US. The numbers continue to be impressive with earning of $180.3 million in North America and $342.2 million in international markets.
Fast 6, as it is also known, passed the $500 million mark on Wednesday to the delight of Universal and it continues to hold the number one spot at the box office for the second consecutive weekend and beyond.
This was Universal’s highest grossing opening ever and the best in franchise history. The action flick, which explores vehicular warfare, was also very well received in Europe where it score the best opening ever for the studio in England.
It is no surprise since a large portion of the film was shot in London, when Piccadilly Circus was closed to allow the cast and crew to film spectacular, never before seen car chases.
Director Justin Lin said during the press junket to promote the film before its premiere, that he was privileged to be only the third director who was allowed to film in the street of the English capital.
It is unusual for a franchise in their latter installments to do as well as Fast 6 is doing, but it is a testament to the dedication from the film’s producers, which include star Vin Diesel.
Believe it or not, a Fast 7 is in the works and according to Michelle Rodriguez it will start shooting in September. If you saw Fast 6, the ending told you all you needed to know about the future film.
With the permanent cast of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, and Michelle Rodriguez fans are sure to keep coming back for more.
Fast and Furious 6 is currently playing in theaters everywhere.

Rogue Beard Beer didn’t get its name for nothing. It’s an unusual brew that’s made using yeast that has been extracted from the beard of an actual human being. That human being is brew-master John Maier, who sports a notably bushy beard that apparently has a lot of yeast in it.

I’ve tried my fair share of weird food and drinks, but this is one I probably won’t try. Nothing against John and his beard, but let me just say, we don’t know where his beard has been…
Anyway, on a more serious note, this isn’t the first time that a brewery has chosen to use wild yeast for their beer. The flavor is described to be a bit more “interesting” and on the “sour side”, so if that sounds appealing to you, then give the Beard Beer a shot, by all means.
Beard Beer is available online for $6.75(USD) a bottle.

D Gprice cut + some damn games is what's needed else WiiU is doomed. Needs an identity badly.
Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz has issued a note today to investors about what he would like to see at - and what he expects to come out of - the Electronic Entertainment Expo next week. Creutz says that he believes Nintendo may announce a "badly needed" price cut at E3, and says that gamers should not expect PS4, Xbox One pricing info or details on used game schemes from the big players next week.
You can recognize Bumblebee’s bright colors anywhere – especially if they’re painted onto a girl. This femme body paint cosplay is the first of many Transformers to be painted by G Wayne. This particular model was cosplayed by Jessica Leigh, and I’m impressed with her just for standing still through the makeup application. I wouldn’t have the patience.

MIT is creating 'smart sand' — made of tiny robotic cubes — that will be able to surround an object, map its form, and then replicate it.
We first heard of the project at NPR.
The minuscule cubes contain a microprocessor, magnets for sticking to each other, and a battery. But size is the biggest issue, as the current smart cubes are still too large for anyone to call granules of sand.
The theory is that an object — say a toy car — would be tossed into a bag containing the little computers. The cubes are then able to interact with each other, and can recognize when they're pushed up against a foreign object. A digital silhouette is mapped out, and the data is transmitted to another group of cubes, which will then link together to replicate the object. Remove the extras, and you've got a fabricated match of the toy car.
Check out the video explaining the concept below.

If you’ve lost the New York Times editorial board, you’ve lost … a group that’s as far left as The Nation’s masthead, if we’re being honest. Not a huge deal. And he really hasn’t lost them. In nearly all other policy disputes, he’ll represent the liberal side of the argument. They’ll rally eventually. But if [...]

At the bottom of this post is a partial screengrab of the mess Jocelyn found when she tracked her package online. It had been shipped using UPS Mail Innovations, which combines the worst of both companies.
“It shipped from Shutterfly on June 3, and was first processed in Auburn, WA,” writes Jocelyn. “The next couple check-ins were all in the next couple days, June 4th and 5th, as it made its way from WA to Fontana, CA. Then, suddenly, the package went back in time, and somehow managed to visit nearly half the states in the US within a 24-hour time period.”
That list continues to get larger. In the short time between receiving Jocelyn’s e-mail and checking out the tracking info for ourselves, dozens of new entries were added.
It’s obviously a glitch, and Jocelyn is more amused at the silliness of this error than she is worried about her package bouncing around like it’s trapped in a TARDIS that’s gone haywire.
“I’m not actually concerned about the package getting to me,” she admits. “I bet it will be at my house in the next couple days. But I definitely seem to have run into some strange glitch.”
Just for giggles, here is the mammoth screengrab Jocelyn sent us today. Again, this is only partial:![]()
George Zimmerman’s lawyers are requesting to ban certain inflammatory words, such as ‘wannabe cop,’ ‘vigilante,’ and ‘profiled’, at his trial.
Certain phrases during opening statements are also requested to be banned during trial. Zimmerman’s lawyers do not want prosecutors to say that Zimmerman confronted Trayvon Martin or that he got out of the car after the police told him not to.
“Some of these terms are disparaging, inappropriate, and if used in trial would serve only to unfairly prejudice the jury by eliciting unfounded connotations and unfair emotional responses,” defense attorney Mark O’Mara wrote in a motion to the court.
Judge Debra S. Nelson has yet to rule on this request. She recently decided that defense attorneys will not be allowed to talk about pictures of drugs and guns found on Martin’s phone. Nelson also said that talking about Martin’s alleged school suspensions, drug use and fights are not relevant and might prejudice jurors.
Zimmerman was arrested in April of last year for allegedly shooting Martin. Authorities charged Zimmerman with second degree murder more than six weeks after he shot the 17-year-old.
State Attorney Angela Corey did not talk about how she arrived at the charges or disclosed other details in the investigation. “That’s why we try cases in court,” she said.
Zimmerman has maintained his innocence since the incident and said that he shot Martin in self-defense after the teenager allegedly attacked him. The shooting sparked national outrage and set off a debate over race and self-defense that went all the way to the White House.
Corey admitted that the decision to charge Zimmerman didn’t have anything to do with the protests and debates. “We do not prosecute by public pressure or by petition,” she said.
Do you think these inflammatory words should be banned at Zimmerman’s trial?

As part of the excellent Periodic Table of Videos series, shot by video journalist Brady Haran and featuring University of Nottingham chemists, this YouTube video walks you through what happens when hot charcoal gets added to liquid oxygen. The liquid oxygen, which is so cold it starts boiling as soon it reaches the air, nonetheless provides fuel for a tiny, intense fire that makes the piece of charcoal look like a miniature burning star.
