She wears so many layers of clothes and yet she is still so sexy and almost bare.
Like a high leg slit or low-cut back showing a little skin in the right way and in the right place can have a major impact.

Photograph by Marco Mattiussi, National Geographic Your Shot
Fortunately for Your Shot member Marco Mattiussi, the bears on Russias Kamchatka Peninsula were busy eating salmon during the week he spent in a small wooden house in the wilderness frontier. You had to be very careful, he writes. Its a dangerous place to meet a grizzly because theyre not used to humans.
To get this shot, Mattiussi spent several hours lying on the shore of Kurile Lake during the ascent of salmon. The little bear seemed to enjoy holding its head under the water. Its mother was very protective. She didnt lose sight of her cub for even a second.

Pierre Berge is releasing a book this month on his beloved late business partner and lover, Yves Saint Laurent. “Yves Saint Laurent: A Morrocan Passion” was originally published in French in conjunction with the “YSL et le Maroc” 2010 exhibit in Marrakech, and is now translated to English in a hardcover published by Abrams. The book, entirely written with handwriting, shows personal photographs of the legendary designer — many published for the first time — with his friends like Andy Warhol and Loulou de La Falaise. With illustrations by Lawrence Mynott, the 90-page book honors YSL’s fashionable life he lived with Berge in the beautiful country of Morocco. The book will be available this September 16.

Soldiers of the U.S. Armys Fourth Stryker Brigade Combat Team return to their home duty station at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State after a nine-month tour in Afghanistan.
Your Shot contributor Joey Jdm, a member of the unit, had always wanted to take a photo from this angle inside a C-17 transport plane. When I finally got the chance, I asked one of the crew if I could take some photos, he writes. I wasnt a photographer for the unitI just had my camera at the time and couldnt resist capturing the moment of a lifetime.

Snow clings to aspens near Taos, New Mexico, in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. A proposal to protect 45,000 acres here in the Carson National Forest is one of some 30 wilderness bills before the U.S. Congress.
Since President Lyndon Johnson signed the Wilderness Act in 1964, the number of wilderness areas has increased to more than 750.
