LuciocNa verdade a estatística é uma em cinco *mulheres jovens*. De qualquer forma, não é uma estatística muito surpreendente porque (a) a "moral e bons costumes" faziam homens conseguir sexo voluntário ser muito mais difícil e (b) as mulheres tinham muito menos oportunidades econômicas.
De fato, até a época em que o meu pai era novo basicamente *todo* homem ia na zona regularmente, pelo que ele conta.

My theory on the film "The Fountain" *Spoilers*
LuciocFoi minha interpretação desse filme também. Mas basicamente gente que gosta de scifi vai interpretar dessa forma, enquanto gente que não gosta vai achar que a viagem espacial foi viagem do cara.
I saw The Fountain before my days with Digg and later Reddit, so I've never been able to bounce this theory off of anyone. But it was a recent post about decisive films that made me think about this again. So...be kind...
The Fountain gives us three separate story lines with two actors playing parts in each story. My theory goes to combine all three.
First, we get present Izzi's story about Tomas and Queen Isabella. This story is nothing more than a fiction based on the pursuit of the Tree of Life/Fountain of Youth and Conquistadors exploring Central and South America. She bases her characters on herself and her husband. We get a bit of mythology involving ancient gods and a nebula as well. Izzi knows she won't live to finish the story and urges Tom to "Finish it."
Then, we have Present Izzi who is dying of cancer. Her husband, Tom, has been treating and experimenting on a monkey named Donovan who has a tumor and is later attacked by other monkeys. His experiments involve him using an untested compound derived from a Guatemalan tree. During the film, there is a breakthrough. Tom gets a call saying the Donovan's tumor is gone, his cognitive abilities show no sign of age, and even his injuries are repaired. Tom rushes to Izzi, but she dies before he reaches her. Towards the end of the film, he plants a seed above her grave and vows to cure death.
My theory is that Space Traveler/Future Tom is actually present Tom after extending his life using an augmented compound that works for humans. This is why he has visions of Present Izzi urging him to "Finish it" even though it's obviously been eons since she died.
The seed that Present Tom plants above Izzi's grave is that of the tree that cured Donovan. As that tree grew, Izzi's body became part of it and for Tom, Izzi lived through the tree. The compound allowed for Tom to live long enough to see humanity go into space. When technology allowed, he took himself and the tree into the space bubble to the nebula from Izzi's story. Now, we don't get any idea on how quickly his he moving. It could be a few years, it could be a few thousand years (I think the rings on his arm give some indication). At any rate, towards the end of his journey, the tree starts to die. This is bad news for two reasons. One, his whole mission and last gift to his wife will mean nothing if the tree dies before it makes it to the nebula. Two, if the tree dies, he dies.
Of course they make it and both are reborn.
What do you guys think? Am I missing a detail that kills my theory?

Novo centro administrativo da prefeitura reacende polêmica entre vereadores de BH
LuciocFTA: Ventura argumentou que “a maioria dos moradores da Lagoinha” seriam contrários à realziação da obra.
Tô trucando isso. A Lagoinha é um bairro bem judiado, e uma obra faraônica^W^W^W um investimento extenso da prefeitura talvez revitalizasse a região.
Um outro cara disse que a Lagoinha não seria um lugar bom para o tal centro executivo porque "tem muitos imóveis tombados". Mas isso é uma parte do problema - o tombamento de imóveis é basicamente uma desapropriação sem dar dinheiro nenhum para o proprietário, e o destino horrível de quase todo imóvel que recebe na muleira o cálice de desgraças que é o tombamento é ser abandonado e virar uma ruína decrépita poluindo visualmente a cidade e juntando mendigos, crackeiros e bandidos. Num lugar onde *vários* imóveis foram tombados, igual a Lagoinha, forma-se um bairro que parece uma zona de guerra ou cenário pós-apolipse zumbi. (Protip: isso também vem acontecendo na Floresta, vejam por exemplo o caso do Castelinho da Floresta, em degradação deplorável há décadas.)
