A long time ago, we covered a Wonder Festival and made casual mention of a Phat Company line of poseable figures. Then quite a while passed without much news. Now that line is gearing up for an actual release: Parfom Aigis (or Aegis if you prefer)!
As you can see, this brand is comparable to Kotobukiya's Cu-Poche figures, except with the chibi slightly toned down. From the gallery shots, the level of detail and articulation look very good - though Aigis doesn't have the sort of whacky outfit that might hinder some poses.
The set comes with a smiling expression, a combat expression, and an array of weapons. It's going for a fairly reasonable ¥3,704 and will be out in June.
Manga pioneer Osamu Tezuka considered Phoenix his life's work, and as such, the manga exploring the human condition from the beginning of Japanese history to the end of humanity is one of the most important manga by one of most important manga authors.
Viz's 12 volume English edition of the work has been out of print. So, while some of the later volumes have been easy to track down, others became rare and pricey.
Fortunately, this classic has now returned in digital form, with Viz offering it through their manga store, as well as other formats like Kindle, Nook, iBookstore and Google Play. The release starts with "Dawn," originally published in Tezuka's alternative manga anthology COM starting in 1967. The entry takes place in Japan's mythical age, under the rule of Queen Himiko of the Yamataikoku.

This is an in-progress English patch of the popular Japanese Ship Collecting game “Kantai Collection”.
It is a great game consisting of cute shipgirls that go and get damaged for your sake.
Note: MAD does not accurately portray actual gameplay
What this patch covers:
-Ship Types
-Ship Names
-Ship Introductions
-Quests
-Equipment
-Some basic interface
What this patch does NOT cover: (for now)
-Expeditions
-Biographies
-The rest of the interface
You will also need your API link in order to make use of the patch.
Note that there are three things you cannot do through the API link, and thus cannot perform through the patch as well:
1. Update fleet names
2. Update Admiral message in rankings
3. Input your Admiral name for the first time
I’ll post updates regularly on my Twitter (@RHExcelion). Feel free to comment below or tweet me about bugs/comments/suggestions.
-Why are there no slots left?
We’re currently limiting server load to make sure it can handle everything smoothly. I’ll post whenever we open more slots on my Twitter. The cap will eventually be removed.
-Can I get banned using this?
Sure. You’re a non-Japanese player playing from a foreign IPA. That’s already grounds to ban you. If you don’t want to take any additional risk, don’t use the patch.
-Will this work with KCV/logbook/etc?
No. Those programs need to be updated separately.
-Why are the fonts so big? Can you fix them?
Because Japanese fits more syllables in less characters. No.
-Why is my server name different?
Don’t worry about that.

Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, the team created the Linebarrels of Iron manga series, will work on a manga reboot of Robot Keiji (Robot Detective), Toei's tokusatsu superhero TV series in 1973 created by Shotaro Ishinomori (Kamen Rider, Cyborg 009) and Ishinomori's comicarization of the same name. The news was announced at the Choeiyusai: Kamen Rider x Super Sentai Live & Show 2014 at Nippon Budokan on January 15. The new manga will tell a totally original story and will be serialized in Akita Shoten's shonen manga magazine in this fall. Check the teaser trailer below.
The 26-episode tokusatsu series Robot Keiji was aired in Japan from April to September in 1973 and Ishinomori's manga was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine from the 1st to 41st issue of the same year. The story focused on a robot detective named "K." Some fans think that Robot Keiji was one of the main inspirations for Paul Verhoeven's 1987 film Robocop along with The 8 Man and
Space Sheriff Gavan.
Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi are currently working on another manga reboot of a famous
tokusatsu series, Ultraman. Their ULTRAMAN manga has been serialized in Monthly Hero's since the
December 2011 issue and so far three tankobon volumes have been published in Japan.
