The series site has announced that "-Holy Grail's call-" preview screenings of Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] have been planned for September 28th in seven cities across five countries, including Japan (Tokyo, Osaka and production studio ufotable's home town Tokushima), Los Angeles, USA, Paris, France, Nuremberg, Germany, and Seoul, South Korea.

In addition of special merchandise and other goodies, the Japanese screenings will feature appearances by the cast and staff, including director Takahiro Miura, character designer Tomonori Sudou, Shiro Emiya voice Noriaki Sugiyama and Saber voice Ayako Kawasumi in Tokyo, producer Hikaru Kondo and Rin Tohsaka voice Kana Ueda in Osaka and animation directors Takuya Nonaka and Takayuki Mogo in Tokushima in Tokushima.

The new ufotable produced adaptation of the modern fantasy light novel is scheduled to start in October. Unlike the 2006 Studio Deen adaptation of the material, this one will focus on the game's Rin-centric Unlimited Blade Works route.

Thanks to last winter's successful Kickstarter fundraiser organized by Ankama, the folks behind the multimedia franchise, cult French animated fantasy WAKFU will in fact soon be getting an English release. More than that, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to the epic fantasy-adventure.

The first two seasons comprise 52 half-hour episodes. There are also specials featuring Eunyoung Choi, Michio Mihara and Ping Pong's Masaaki Yuasa. The English dub of season 1 launches on Netflix in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Netherlands and Nordics on September 14. It will also be available on Netflix in France, Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg when the service starts in those countries and across Latin America this fall.

“This partnership represents very high visibility and a strong growth opportunity for Ankama,” said Olivier Comte, Ankama’s managing director and COO.  “We are very excited to be working with Netflix. We can now take a great French series across the globe, with just one agreement. It is incredibly motivating for our young and growing team of about 500 employees.”

The voice cast for the three new characters in Toei Animation's highly anticipated film HappinessCharge PreCure! Ningyou no Kuni no Ballerina　(The ballerina in the doll kingdom) are revealed to Japanese media today on September 9. Popular voice actress/singer Yui Horie joins the long-running anime franchise for the first time in her career alongside Daisuke Ono and Toshiyuki Morikawa.

Horie voices a ballerina doll named Tsumugi who takes the HappinessCharge team to the doll kingdom. Daisuke Ono, no doubt one of the most popular anime voice actors today, plays Prince Sigk also as his first PreCure appearance. 47-year-old veteran Toshiyuki Morikawa voices a mysterious man Black Fang who attacks the doll kingdom with his black strings. According to the September 7 tweet by Megumi Han who voices Hime Sirayuki/Cure Princess in the series, the voice recording session for the

film was already finished.

HappinessCharge PreCure! is the 11th installment of Toei Animation's long-running PreCure TV anime series

produced as the franchise's 10th anniversary title. The Chiaki Kon-directed film HappinessCharge PreCure!

Ningyou no Kuni no Ballerina opens in Japan on October 11.

A new study reveals that dogs prefer petting over vocal praise. Dogs will spend significantly longer periods of time around people who are more inclined to pet them, regardless of whether they're owners or strangers. Vocal praise, on the other hand, has virtually no effect on their desire to hang out. The research also shows that dogs never get tired of being petted.

Discotek Media has announced new licenses for 2015, including more Lupin III, sure to be nostalgic to some who remember its TV run Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troupers, and Bokurano - a pain and trauma laden giant robot anime from 2007, helmed by Studio Ghibli veteran Hiroyuki Morita (the Cat Returns).

Bokurano Complete TV series. Coming in 2015 exact date TBA. Japanese language with English subtitles.

Yen Press has announced that they will be publishing Phi-Brain/EXILE manga artist Haruki Ueno's manga adaptation of Big Hero 6, Disney's upcoming CG animated film based on a obscure Marvel Comics super hero team based out of Japan.

While the movie is coming in November, Yen's final pub date on the manga is still to be determined.

Interestingly, according to Hollywood Reporter, Marvel itself has no plans to use the characters. Not only is the publisher not planning on a reprint or new material, the characters aren’t scheduled to make appearances in any other Marvel comic titles in the foreseeable future either.

The last time the characters appeared in a Marvel title was 2012, when the team showed up in an issue of Amazing Spider-Man to help defeat Doctor Octopus.

While Shiro Emiya was a tthe center of Studio Deen's 2006 anime TV series adaptation of Fate/stay night, it'll be Rin Tōsaka receiving the main focus of the ufotable Unlimited Blade Works route adaptation kicking off on TV this fall and Sakura Matō taking the role for the upcoming Heaven's Feel movie. Still, he does get to the hero of the third ad for the upcoming anime.

Yen Press has told Publishers Weekly that their Yen On light novel line will be releasing the source material for the popular Log Horizon and The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime in 2015.
